AI tore it up tonight. 47 points and 12 assists. C-Webb had 30 points, 12 boards, and 8 assists. Sixers are 5-1 since the all star break. now 6th in the east.

But the Lakers..man! Are losing TERRIBLY. Its rather scary the rate that they're falling down the conference tops.

they've been losing terribly (boston and portland, for crying out loud) but they havent been faliing the down the conference standings... theve been, and still is, 8th seed
i find it infuriating how they keep falling back down to .500

I don't see Houston making a playoff trip this year... They simply started off too behind, and I don't see them coming back.
they've been playing pretty good lately so who knows? they actually won another game today where t-mac left before the game's end. though it was against portland so that's not really saying much.
dude. lamar odom got invited to the tryouts. wow, very surprising.
is there something wrong with him?

Invited players with previous national team experience are LeBron James, Lamar Odom, Shawn Marion and Amare Stoudemire.
Other invited NBA players are Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Shane Battier, Chauncey Billups, Chris Bosh, Bruce Bowen, Elton Brand, Dwight Howard, Joe Johnson, Brad Miller, Chris Paul, Paul Pierce, Michael Redd, and Luke Ridnour.
Additionally, two college players were invited: Gonzaga's Adam Morrison and Duke's J.J. Redick.
A position will also be kept open for Shaquille O'Neal should he choose to play.
Nothing against Odom, he's a good player but he's not as good as someone who should be up there like Kevin Garnett.
Why Shane Battier, I wonder o.o
Paul and Ridnour are too young and aren't international material YET.
No one likes Bruce Bowen
Howard's a beast for just a kid, so I'll let him on.
A number of invited players just aren't "Dream Team" material enough.
Iverson, Carter, T-MAC, KG, Artest, Ray Allen, Carmelo, and even Ben Wallace + Kobe, Bosh, Pierce, Redd, Arenas, Billups, Shaq, LeBron etc. is what a real Dream Team could be.

as for shane, he's good defensively, and i think it'll either be him or bruce, because they play the defensive stopper role. bruce was invited for the sole purpose of guarding manu. battier because he knows coach k's system well
