hiii!!
I've gotten my earlobes pierced for the first time about 2 weeks ago at claires. bad idea. i know. i foudn out about the gun after i got them pierced. they were pretty irritated...all itchy, my whole earlobe was red, swollen. but they were not infected (no pus, no soreness unless i hit them or something)
and then i went to a pro piercing studio to get the studs changed into CBRs because apparently the studs at claires were bad for me...as in they weren't real gold (silver or sterling silver coated with 14k gold)
it's been...3-4 days since i got them changed in CBRs...
1. my earlobes are still red, like before. like the whole earlobe is RED.
2. they are not itchy anymore. well...rarely itching now
3. they are slightly warm (only near the very bottom of the earlobes), but less warm than when i had the studs in...with the studs my earlobes were like HOT.
4. they have this circle of "hardness" around the ear piercing, like the skin around the piercing is hard.... 0_o
5. NO PUS. NO PUS AT ALL.
6. NOT SORE and DOESN'T HURT. (unless i tap them or try to move the CBR something)
i am too afraid to try to move the CBR because well, IT HURTS when i do...but im afraid that the ring would heal into my ear...!! people told me no need to move the ring if i just clean the crusties off the CBR...so i don't know...
the lady at the piercing place a few days ago told me that they didn't seem infected (no pain, no pus)..she just told me that they are REALLY "angry"..
has anyone ever had this problem? if so...how long did this last? this is pissing the heck out of me lol
thanks!!

oh..i got the same thing a looong time ago. of course the redness and swelling went away, but the "hardness" around my earlobe actually stayed on my right ear and yeahh. claire's was a bad idea xD
gun piercing your ears makes it more likely that they'll get infected..
