[font="Century Gothic"]I've scars that are sunken below the skin on my face, both sides of my cheeks. They are like long straight marks and are not discolored. I wanted to know if there are any ways that I can get rid or lessen the appearance of the scars. I'd these scars since I was five and I can barely remember why. My mom told me once that there was a boy around my age at the time in my neighborhood whom I played with in a group of kids. My mom was unsure why, but she told me that he scratched my face with his fingernails! I don't remember anything, but was pretty upset after hearing that. How horrible was that?!
I didn't really care about the scars until in fourth grade when my friends asked my about my scars. I felt really awkward because I didn't think that it was really that noticeable. I'm still pretty upset at the reason for the scars, my facial skin is not that bad and the only things that make me feel conscious are the scars. I feel really conscious when going out and looking into the mirrors.
I'm sixteen right now. I'm not planning to have plastic surgery or any surgical procedure done to my face and no injections please. I wanted to know if there are any creams or thing to apply to my face to reduce the appearance of the scars. Thanks for reading and hope you guys reply.

I think that surgery or injection is the only way. sorry.
Andd I dont think there is any topical products that will raise individual places of the skin.
foundation won't do anything either.
But hey, those scars aren't ugly! It gives your face character. Seriously, i think that a perfectly chiseled porcelain face is BORING. People will think that you are more interesting person because with those scars, there is a story. and don't feel awkward about the scars!! Be proud!! You faced those kids and have passed through stages of life!
