Hello, I'm looking for advice on what work-study job I should apply for. I'm also wondering if it matters what kind of job I get?
I'm doing work-study in the fall, and there's a LOT of jobs to choose from. I'm not even sure which ones are available for undergrads or not. All I know is that I must go and get a form once school starts and somehow get hired by whoever is offering the position? o.o;
Help. x_x;

You should find out if there's an information packet on work-study jobs that are available on campus. I think most schools have a student employment office (it may called something else) where you can find out about work-study jobs. They should be able to guide you through the whole process.
Of course it matters what kind of job you get. Try to pick something that's related to your major (if you have one already) or find one that interests you. If you like to be surrounded by books, get a job at the library. Or if you like taking potential students around the campus, be a tour guide for the school.
