Hi
I was wondering if any of the computer experts can help me out here. I recently brought new tower, when I turn on my pc. The coloring of the monitor is too bright and bluish. I tried to change the settings like color brightness, contrast, hueness and etc. Yet, it is still too bright and bluish. Making everything look well blue and weird looking. Does anyone know what I can do to make it less blue and bright? Any help is appreciated. =)

You can adjust the color temperature of a lot of monitors, its on the monitor settings and you search for the temperature or color temperature... 6500k, 9500k stuff like that you can decrease it and it will turn a more yellowish, warmer color. If you cant find it ill go turn on my desktop and find out the proper name.

Thanks awdark but unfortunately still didn't help much. The colors are still screwy even with monitor adjustments you suggested. I also try changing the graphic card adjustment and nothing. Is it possible that the monitor I'm using isn't compatible to the game card I have. The monitor is 2003 flatscreen. i'm not sure if it's LCD or LED.

Are you using a DVI cable? (square plug that looks huge not the old style blue vga one with 15 pins)
Make sure the cable is seated firmly. My monitor had a funky tinge over everything because I didn't plug it in all the way.

Thank you so much. It did turn out to be the cable, somehow it got messed up. So I ordered new one and tada~. The display works perfectly, I don't see any funky colors and I no longer feel like I'm in haze when I'm looking at my monitor. Thanks again!
