So I've been freezing my bananas. I heard they had a popsicle-like texture, and they actually do!

But the problem is when I peel them, half the interior of the peel sticks to the banana. It either takes a knife to shave them off or deliberate nail use. I tried cutting the banana half, quarters, and then eighths, but the situation only worsened. I even lost a piece by dropping it on the floor... dry.gif

Does anyone here know how to properly cut and peel frozen bananas?

Doesn't that make the banana turn pale? I've tried putting them into the regular refrigerator, but they turned very dark brown after half an hour or so.

Squeeze some lemon or lime juice on your banana and it will prevent your banana from turning brown!

Yeah, I've read somewhere about that method. And what if you don't have lemon or lime? Is there an alternative? biggrin.gif

I really want to perfect my frozen banana preparation skills...as silly as that sounds. haha

Hmmmm...When I freeze bananas, I usually just peel them and then freeze them in a plate.
Mine don't turn brown either :/.

Maybe run it under some hot water (with the peel) for a few seconds to free it a little bit.

Ohh I remember my Mom used to peel a banana and stick it in a plastic bag.
Then she'd flatten it and sprinkle on some peanuts.
And then freeze it!
It was soo good =]
