Linksys Password?

gahhh i've been looking all over the place nd i can't find the password. i've followed all the instructions nd it's asking for a password. does anyone know where to find it?

are you installing on your main computer for your laptop? & as for the pw...if you cant find it, contact the place you bought you linksys from

Assuming you or someone else hasn't changed it yet, the default username/password for linksys routers is either...

username: admin
password: admin

or

username: (leave it blank)
password: admin

If you still cannot access the menu after trying those two login/pw's... then do a reset on your linksys by holding down the tiny reset button on the router for about 10 seconds. After that, turn it off and on then try to log in again.

i'm tryna install it onto my laptop. i've tried the admin thing too nd it isn't working. lolz thanks fer tryna help. imma jus call tomorro morning lolz

have you forgotten your wep key or something so you want access to your router? I think a hard reset for linksys routers are typically unplug, hold the rest, plug in and wait 20 seconds. Otherwise if its just the wep key there are programs to get the key from lets say a computer with the wep key already
