alright. might as well as post my results.

been working out for a month and a half doing light cardio + ab workouts frequently

and yet i get these lame results.

FML!

Along with exercise and a healthy diet, buy some whey protein powder. Guys that try to buff up always use it.

Protein powder+light cardio+8 min abs = fat.

Protein powder is for much more intense workouts, not a simple one like this.

8 min abs got easy for me after a few weeks so I'm doing the p90x one, which is MUCH harder.
This 8 min program is still not bad though.

This will be a silly question but a lot of the replies in here mentions the neck hurting. I have the same problem. Does that mean we're not doing it properly?

uh did you even look at the guy's pics mellow.gif he is way too lean there, and I'm just suggesting whey protein for him to buff up alil, other wise his 6 pack won't show at all. ;)

I agree.. I think this is a great starter ab routine! I only work out to eat so I'm not extremely skinny but I started doing this a while ago to give my abs and waist more definition and it definitely works. If I actually dieted I know I'd have killer abs under that thin layer of fat still on top of it. LOL. I will never give up food though!

Overtime, I've changed the work out, added and removed a few things here and there and I usually do it after cardio and some stretching. Adding some planks in is a good idea too because it's easy and promotes good posture whereas crunches can actually ruin it if you don't do them correctly.

Use your hands ONLY to support your neck if your neck hurts but don't use it to push yourself up to do the crunch.

in those pictures, they were directly taken (not mirror shots) & i wasnt flexing or anything.
but yeah, i stopped taking whey protein and all those stuff when i found out that they
make you unable to grow taller. im doing it all 'natural' from now on. smile.gif

Hey guys! I just started trying out this exercise today.
I was wondering if doing this will be useful for me? I have some fats around my stomach.

No... I'd HAVE killer abs if I actually watched my diet but I don't. The ab work outs just keep my stomach flat because I love eating!

To burn most of the fat, you'll need to incorporate cardio as well but the ab work outs alone will just burn a little of the fat away and define your abs.

Running, fast-paced sports, etc.

What is cardiovascular exercise?

ABS 200 (the later stage of ABS 100) is good too.
It's pretty good and I think its more challenging than 8 min abs, since now the 8minabs is getting less challenging and becoming redundant.

ABS 200 is part of the P 90 System (don't worry, it's not the P90X)
