your results will vary depending on your diet, body type, %fat, etc

and youre gona have to need to run/swim
if you really want to seee AMAZING results.
yea.. i figured.. after doing it for 13 days.. and not getting

The size of your abs muscle and your percentage of body fat.
afaik, there is NO SUCH THING as spot reduction. If there was, then wouldn't everyone have sexy abs?
Couple of tips that I've heard are.
-Cut down on salt intake, because you'll retain more water weight. (lol, like this is gonna happen here....)
-Drink lots of water! Because it will Dehydrate your body. You're body will tell itself it can stop storing water so it will drop excess water.
-Eat small portions, and often. Eating 6 times a day instead of 3 will speed your metabolism up.
Abs are the result of a clean diet, excercise and body fat percentage. Why else do you think it's so sexy? Because it speaks to an OVERALL healthy fit lifestyle.
@PPJ. Sorry, I wanted to add this, but I hope I don't redirect your topic. Keep up the good work. I'd think about starting a full body weight program soon, you could really push out! Unless you like your current body type.)
I agree. Well defined abs are a result of good diet. The workout process is the easier portion once you've gotten yourself into a good eating routine. But yea, i noticed most Korean guys have genetically well defined abs anyway.. it's just the layer of fat that gets in the way.

not the workout itself though, because I barely feel the burn... it's the day after, when my neck is sore like hell and i can barely prop my head up.... maybe i'm doing it wrong..

Of course, silly me, I stopped doing it five times a week since school started again a few years ago, and I haven't been doing it seriously for two years now. I have a faint reminder of my "washboard" abs. *tear*

OKAY so.. hmmmmm i heard that you shouldn't do crunches or like ab workouts every day cause then your muscles wont be able to rest and that's bad for you? (idk..) so you should do it like every other day.. and also STRETCH after you do the ab work out ! like stretch your belly !! you know? you don't know? .. okay well also you should always suck in your stomach.. not like SOO much that your ribs stick out but a "reasonable amount".. if you do this all the time it's like putting force on your core blah blah blah. so yeah lol.
okay i'm done..

firstly, topic starter (sorry didn't get the name), but well done with getting fit and all.
HOWEVER...
i don't know if anyone mentioned this on the thread yet since i don't have the patience to read all 11 pages of comments, but it's EASY for a guy like you to obtain abs since u are already rather thin, thus all you need to do is tone the body. hence, half of the work of losing fat is already done.
But what is really missing is that you cannot just get a great 6 pack by doing that 8 min workout without also having a balance diet, eating less carbs PLUS doing cardio such as running, jogging, playing ddr obsessively etc.
See, if you get a fat person like myself and start crunching over and over, then of course u'll feel the burn during the workout and after rest, but without slimming down then doing it is rather almost pointless to the point u want that 'rock hard abs' or toned look.
i'm just saying that it's MUCH easier for you to get them since u're already thin and so is everyone else on that video, sometimes makes me wonder why they don't put fatter ppl doing the workout along side the instructor. - and that it may be 'deceiving' to SOME members here who think doing JUST that workout will get them the body they want.
NOTE: EVERYONE HAS ABS! in most cases 'flabs'. you just need to trim it down and tone it by doing that 8 min ab thingy but also importantly having a good trim down diet and cardio workout.
