I got a question.
Me and my cousin have been trying this actually
And uh... I got a question...
I'm not skinny. But I'm not fat. But I'm more towards fat, I'll say little bit above the average weight. And yes I do have fats
So anyways. I've been doing this. For approx 1 week.
I have an exercise hour during the day. Where I do the whole exercise. Then rest for like 5 min. Then do it again. Repeat.
so I've been wondering. I realise my abs do feel hardER. but I only see one line down LOL.
But that's not the problem. Problem is, I'm not losing weight?
can a fat person have abs like that as well? I thought you can;t.
Maybe I still need to diet? assuming I eat quite a lot.

well its not that you haven't lost weight its that you converted the fat to muscle and muscle does weight heavier, ah XD! now i know what you mean because i eat a lot also, well before i did when i did the videos an i didn't lose or gain any weight but i noticed that my sides were slimmer^^.... i think eating normal portions help

I doubt that this workout alone will help you lose much weight. The only healthy and effective way to lose weight is through cardio exercise and healthy eating. You say that your abs feel harder - that's because you're building up your muscles there, but they're still hidden beneath a layer of fat. It's when you lose that fat that you'll be able to see the contours of the muscles. Note that when you do cardio, you're losing fat AND muscle mass, which is why some people like to supplement their cardio workouts with some weight training so as to build back the muscles (this applies to girls too). This normally isn't too much of a concern and won't have a significant impact, unless you do a LOT of cardio.
Edit: Actually I should probably qualify the above by saying that exercise in general (not just cardio) helps you lose weight, but cardio is much faster, I think, than something like doing housework. =D

fat cannot be converted to muscle, they are totally 2 different tissues. for the muscles to be visible, you gotta lose the fats. if not, both will be present and you will look bigger

i'm scared that i'm not gonna get results because i'm not feeling sore. is that true?
can i keep doing this everyday and sometimes not feel sore?
anyways, this is my day.
-i walk approximately one mile to school everyday.
-go to classes, so walking around A LOT.
-regular dance class.
-go to dance practice afterschool, hip-hop so if that helps the intensity.
-walk home one mile.
-do 8 minute arms and 8 minute abs.
and i don't eat a heavy dinner, nor do i eat junk food.
i've been doing this for a week now.
my question is, when will i see results?
in one month?
is it better to do this everyday or every other day?
and doing JUST this workout and watching what i eat will make me see results right?
and how long did it take you guys to see results?
oh and i'm not skinny, i'm not fat.
i have some fat around my stomach, but not really.
it's not flat, not bulbous.
please help me, and thank you for taking time to answer my questions. :]

This exercise is only for people with relatively flat stomachs already, and they just wanna tone up. So let's say your stomach is "HUGE" or something...then you should start out by losing the weight and eating less first. When you've seen that you've whittled down a bit, then start doing the exercises and the results will be more obvious.
Because if you build up on a fat stomach the end result is still gonna be a fat stomach, with a big chunk of muscle underneath it. The appearance hasn't really improved at all.

that happened to me too!!
it's my 4th day doing this workout
and i don't feel the burning in my abs nymore
it's weird, i'm scared that my body got used to the workout already that it's not effective nymore
and also, i do the 8 min workout TWICE per day.
so yah D;, will i still see results in a month even if i don't feel the pain nymore?

Quick question, did you have a relatively flat stomach before doing this? Just curious! I am definitely doing the whole thing, ie dieting and doing this every day..
Thanks for posting btw!
