Can someone clarify this? What other options are available.
In the back of my computer it has 7 pin (video out), but on my television has 4 pin(s-video).
It seems the cables only come in 4x4, and I have yet to find a 7x7.
Can a 4x4 also work on a 7 pin? (connecting to pc).
Additional information would gadly help.

Absolutely. Get a normal Svideo cable.
Svideo uses 4 pins, Croma, Luma, ground, and ground. (I think its croma and luma I just know one is for black and white and the other is for color)
The other 3 pins on your video card is for other types of output. Like my card has a RGB cable that I can plug into it to plug into a HDtv. Other cards have video input so you can record video or play games on your monitor type thing.
