My mom's friend told her that you can hire a college planner who helps you with financial issues and other stuff like that. Does anyone know where to find one?

i'm not sure where you can find one but why would you want one?
financial planing and stuff you can plan yourself no? probably go talk to the counsellors at the universities that you are planning to enrol in and the rest is basic accounting.
like do a budget. look for grants and scholarships and see where you can get jobs. dont think you need a financial planner because these will add to your financial costs.

you should just go see a counselor...they're free and they'll help you plan out your classes and help you with financial aid.

it seems ironic to pay someone to help you with financial issues. just go see your advisor
