I'm planning to go into pharmacy, but for my first year (starting in a week), and these are the classes im registered in for now
english
math
2 chem classes
2 organic chem classes
bio
stats
biochem
so 9 classes in the whole yr
and i was wondering if that's a bit too much?
b/c we could take prereq classes over either 1 yr or split taking these classes over 2 yrs
i heard organic chem is hard and it's recommended that i take them the 2nd yr when i'll use to the university work load.
what do u guys think would be better to do?

You know these classes sounds very much what my first year at my pharmacy school sounds like. We basically had to study a whole year of organic chemistry, chemistry, biochemistry, stats and drug delievery as well as pharmaceutics. Im still studying pharmacy tho... but I read that its longer in the US? smthn like 8 YEARS????? U kiddin me???? its like 4 years in UK!!! There is are alot of students that came to study in the UK from US and Canada maily becoz its shorter!!!!!! Bear in mind, its expensive!! Before I got into Pharmacy school, I studied Chemistry, Biology and Psychology....That was it!
If u need more info.. im happy to help
...Love me
