Nikon Coolpix S51c Has WiFi With Flickr Combination

Nikon’s Coolpix S51c 7.99MP shooter features the WiFi and Flickr combo. With this cam, you can upload and email your fav. pictures using “my Picturetown” internet photo upload service, which allows you to upload pictures to Flickr or your own blog. The S51c is actually a successor of the S51 version. Nikon S51c retails for $460, while the S51 is priced at $400. Both cameras will be available in September.





Canon PowerShot A650 IS Digital Camera

The Canon PowerShot A650 IS Digital Camera is a 12.1MP camera that features 6x Optical Zoom Lens with the Lens Shift Type Image Stabilization 7.4 (W)–44.4 (T) mm (35mm equiv. : 35 (W)–210 (T) mm) f/2.8 (W)–f/4.8 (T) and 2.5-inch LCD (Approx. 173,000 pixels) screen with wide viewing angle attributing low-temperature polycrystalline silicon. Other features include 1/1.7-inch CCD, DIGIC III Image Processor, mechanical electronic shutter with a speed of 15-1/2000 sec, wide memory card support, real-image zoom viewfinder, and supports direct connection to computer, TV or printer through USB 2.0. Four AA batteries are enough to shoot approx. 300 sharp pictures.





Casio EXILIM Digital Camera - EX-Z1080

Casio has recently released a new EXILIM digital camera EX-Z1080. This latest addition to the Casio’s already existing EXILIM Zoom series has a lot of features including the 10.1MP sensor that generate striking pictures even when the user makes large prints. The camera also facilitates high sensitivity camera work up to a maximum of ISO 6400, and so is considered ideal for capturing darker scenes and lessening blur and haze which is caused by a hand shakes and subject movement. The new models also employs the EXILIM Engine 2.0 high-performance image processing module and also supports a YouTube Capture Mode, which helps users to capture and save film at the most favorable size, quality and other settings. There is a 2.6-inch Bright widescreen LCD display at the back side of the camera for the users to view the thumbnails of images being taken. In addition to all these characteristics of the camera its Super Life Battery permit up to 370 shots when it is fully charged. Available in gray, black, blue, pink, the new EX-Z1080 would be available to the users at a pricing of $279.99 in September.





Casio EX-V8 Stylish EXILIM Digital Cameras

Casio America, Inc. has recently introduced its all new EXILIM digital camera Casio EX-V8. The EX-V8 features a slim, yet powerful optical zoom and comes in a compact design and size. This stylish camera delivers 8.1 effective mega pixels and employs a 7X optical interior zoom lens intended for silent operation. The exilim digi cam also provides four haze reduction techniques, which include a CCD-shift image stabilization system. The camera equips a 2.5 inch Bright LCD display which helps in viewing the image while using the camera. Designed in a compact shape which could easily fit in your palm, the camera comes in silver color. The new model from casio integrates the EXILIM Engine 2.0 image processing module which facilitates the user to record high quality movies. The digital camera also features a YouTube™ Capture Mode, which helps shooter to shoot and save movies at the best possible size. The cool new camera EX-V8 will be available in the store shelves by September at a pricing of $329.99.





Kodak EasyShare V1253 Digital Camera

Kodak recently placed information about new models of digital cameras. One of these is the new Kodak EasyShare V1253 digicam which is especially designed to give realistic photographs and videos. The camera is equipped with 12.4 MP Sensor (effective quantity of 12,1 MP), stereo microphone, large 3.1 JK- display, 1/1.72 PZS (CCD) the objective: 37-111 mm (in 35 mm equivalent) f/3.4-5.3, Digital Image Stabilizer, 32 Mb built in storage easily expandable through SD/MMC memory cards, high speed of lock 8-1/1200 seconds with wide support of MPEG-4 and QuickTime formats. No word on pricing so far.





Olympus Stylus 790SW Super-rugged Pocket Camera

The new Olympus Stylus 790SW is a water-proof digital camera (up to a depth of 10 feet) which is also freeze-proof, dust-proof, shock-proof and fall-proof (up to 5 foot). The shooter features 7.1MP sensor, Face detection, 3x zoom, a 2.5-inch LCD, and digital image stabilization. This 790SW is designed for automatic photography, offering 27 shooting modes that include 4 underwater options.





Pentax Introduces New Optio Z10 And S10 Digicams

Pentax has recently introduced two new digital cameras today. The Z10 features an 8MP CCD sensor (up to ISO 2100), 7x zoom, and 52MB of internal memory, while the S10 comes with a 10MP CCD sensor with up to 3x zoom, 22MB internal memory, and able to record DivX MPEG-4 videos. Both cameras share the same digital anti-shake, 2.5-inch LCDs, facial recognition, SDHC compatibility, $250 price tags, and September release dates.





Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T200 And T70 Are Official

Sony’s Cyber-shot DSC-T200 and T70 are finally official. Both cameras offer an intuitive touch screen that allows you to instantly select the subject you want to focus on (in shooting mode) and what you want to view or where you want to zoom (in playback mode). The ultra-thin 8MP DSC-T200 model raises the bar with a 3.5-inch wide LCD touch-panel that controls all of the camera’s settings and a 5x Carl Zeiss optical zoom lens. This model will be available in silver, black and red. The 8MP DSC-T70 camera features a 3-inch wide LCD touch panel and a 3x Carl Zeiss optical zoom lens. It will be offered in silver, black, white and pink. The DSC-T200 and DSC-T70 will retail for $400 and $300 respectively.

Yeah, the Canon is also my fav on this list. The 12mp was astonishing but the 6x optical zoom hooked me for good. I also like cameras that use AA or AAA batteries cus I already own those types of rechargeable batteries and can carry reserves in my pocket.
