Early Morning Energy coffee/any drinks?

im usually not a morning person...so im lazy and grumpy at school...
and im considering changing that?
and coffees bad for puberty so i dont really wanna drink coffee...
but wats some good ideas or foods/beverages that can wake me up...
and not be grumpy

supposedly apples are a good energy booster. i've never tested it tho.
or you can try those energy drinks.. red bull, rockstar etc.

Protein food and carbohydrates are the best. Eg. Eggs, bread, etc.
They leave you fuller for longer and release energy slowly.

Haha, I have the same problem as you. I drink a strong tea every morning...it really wakes me up smile.gif!
Maybe a good breakfast too if you have time say toast, cereal, energy bar maybe? ^^ Hope it helps!

I drink two packets of emergen-c (longs, walmart, GNC) in the morning (with a tall glass of water) along with my breakfast...its got a crapload of vitamin c and lots of other vitamins and minerals. It supplies a lot of energy for me...and better than a can of sugar.
my fave flavor is raspberry.

Have an apple in the morning.
I've heard that it works better at making you alert than coffee... I'm not sure though

there's a drink called zipfizz for a quick boost of enregy that lasts for hourss :]
i know my brother used it to study with and i used it to stay awake during class.
it works well, but does not taste the best. i think its worth it though, lol
its a nice alternative to the sugar energy drinks like rockstar and monsters cause it says its a dietary supplement on the tube, but its also an energy drink!


you can get it at costco, riteaid, target proabbly, haha

a banana and a bottle of orange juice helps a lot. they're low GI.

I usually drink milk <3

Make sure you are eating a healthy breakfast first of all. If that still isn't enough, I would recommend tea.

eat breakfast, fruit , oatmeal, etc are good for you. also when you wake up drink a glass of water.

I love waking up to fresh orange juice. I'm not a big fan of coffee, I only like it in the winter. =D
