Plot: The film follows the mysterious and ruthless Nikolai (Viggo Mortensen), who is tied to one of London's most notorious organized crime families. His carefully maintained existence is jarred when he crosses paths with Anna (Naomi Watts), an innocent midwife trying to right a wrong, who accidentally uncovers potential evidence against the family. Now Nikolai must put into motion a harrowing chain of murder, deceit, and retribution.

Bottom line, it's Cronenberg film. I'd watch it if it was just Viggo reading a phone book for 3 hours.

I was going to catch this at TIFF but forgot they were having a theatrical release next week anyway. Hitman Viggo + Cronenberg = monster experience.

I can already FEEL this creeping it's way into my top ten of 2007, and I haven't even seen it yet!

Naomi is so going to be my best actress of the year. For either this or Funny Games, just you wait and see.

the naked fighting scene was one of the most entertaining fighting scene I've ever seen.
Viggo is such an alpha male there, not to mention those *tattoes*

love love love this movie....
love the Russian culture too! I haven't really seen a lot of it.

Saw this a few weeks ago and loved it. Viggo was amazing as usual and have to give a mention to Vincent Cassel who played Kirill, I thought he was exceptionally good. I may not be Russian but I thought Viggo did a great job with the accent, plus I can't complain about the sauna fight scene

This movie was pretty good. Viggo proves that once again, he's a serious actor. Young Hollywood should take notes. He's the person you can't keep your eyes off in a movie cause he draws you into his character so much. Good stuff.
