my older sister taught me a good exercise a few weeks ago that helps to tone your upper arm muscles (like the lower part of it)!

you can use your bed for this.

stand with your back facing the bed, and place your hands/palms on the edge of the bed.
extend your body so it's STRAIGHT.
(you'll kinda be like 'lying down')
the points of contact right now should only be your two heels and your two palms.
push yourself up and down, that's considered as '1'.
do 3 sets of 14 everyday.

do you understand what im trying to say? ><

I was taught by my trainer to use very light weight dumbbells. (Heavy weights will increase the size of your arm muscle)

basically, you have a bench. and one 2-3 lb weight dumbbell.

Place one knee on the bench, and have the other leg straight on the ground.

Hold the dumbbell in whichever hand that is on the side of your body with the knee on the bench.

Bend that arm back and up until your elbows are slightly past your side/back.

And swing the bottom part of your arm (from the elbow down) all the way back towards the ceiling as far as you can very slowly.

Then lower it to your original position. Do this in sets of 10 on each arm. (remember to switch off knees if you switch off arms) You should be able to feel the burn. lol.

I did it for about 2-3 weeks now and the fat on my arms aren't that jiggly anymore. Its firmer and toner and not as inflated! I'm sorry if its confusing but I hope it helps.

Women do not have enough testosterone to build huge muscles so start lifting. The more muscle you have the higher your metabolism will be and not only that, muscle is 20% more dense than fat. Therefore if you replace that fat with muscle you will look 20% skinnier and more tone.

Do intensive cardio. You can't spot reduce, fat burns off as a whole. Also, exercise means nothing without a proper diet. Stay away from fatty junk food, things high in sodium and sugar.

i think your talking bout the triceps. the muscle behind the bicep muscles right?? anyways, off of what lilpinkhearts said, they are called dips. basically pushups. i google it for you so you wont have to. you dont need to have two benches. you can just place your feet on the groundhttp://www.myfit.ca/exercisedatabase/viewa...cises&ID=58

you can try doing pushups as well as those bench dips that were mentioned above. you can use a chair and plant both feet firmly on the ground... but make sure you're pushing yourself up using the muscles in your arms instead of your legs smile.gif

this is the only one of all the replies that will actually work. intensive cardio is the way to help you. you cannot "spot reduce". only working out your arms wont do much. diet is simple, stay away from greasy food for sure and away from high sodium/sugar food. instead of jogging, work on sprinting or lap swimming. that will help you burn off your fat much faster than jogging because sprinting/lap swimming are intense cardio exercises.

Here are things you can do to lose weight (fat)/ live healthier.

- You do not need to exercise to lose weight. It does a world of magic if you choose to.
- In order to loss weight, you must have a negative calorie deficit. This means you burn more calories then you eat.
- Never starve yourself. You will gain weight if you do so. Your metabolism will slow down and everything you eat will be stored into your glycogen (fat) deposits.
- Click here! Click the link to figure how many calories you need to eat each day. Don't use the link if you are trying to gain muscle.
- Eat at least 5 small meals per day or every 2 hours. This will give you the right amount of energy throughout the day.
- Read the food labels. It will tell you what is in your food.
- Eat natural foods.
- No High fructose corn syrup. No Partially/Fully Hydrogenated anything. They will cause spikes of insulin and make you fatter.
- Avoid white rice and bread. They are empty calories. Go for whole wheat. I know it is hard for Asians, but try.
- Drinks lots of water!!! Like a gallon a day. It is a 0 calorie drink. Plus, water comes with tons of other benefits.
- Tea is the second best drink you can have. It has a lot of the same properties as water. Though, it is not a replacement for water.
- Don't use weight loss products. They either don't work or have no substantial results. Also, they can harm you.
- Remind yourself of your goals constantly. You are bound to get offtrack if you don't constantly remind yourself of what you want.
- TRY to get 8 hours of continuous/undisturbed sleep at night.
- Health is a lifestyle not a fad.
