Hm...it seems to be working for a lot of people. I'll clean out my bathtub this weekend and try. Plus, it sounds relaxing =)

Um...for the people who keep saying: 'why not just exercise?', it's because not everyone finds it easy to exercise. I'm honestly horribly bad at exercising. I try exercising, but I just get tired too easily and then the motive to exercise dies and comes back and then dies again.

My point is just some people find it hard to exercise and lose weight so they want to try this instead because it seems so much easier.

Yea, that's what I wanted to say. I'm not trying to sound mean, or sound grrr serious. I'm just saying that people like me suck at exercising and would rather like to do something more easier rather than cardio etc.

Oh and um...is there a difference if you so this in different seasons? like would it be more effective if you did this during different seasons?

^ try swimming. easier on the joints and helps lung capacity
(swimmings very good for arms, abs and legs)
afetrwards yu can dry up and hop into a hot tub to do the bahn sin yohk :]

id think itd be kinda dangerous during hot weather
cus you could faint/ get a heat stroke and drown ._."

That's interesting; losing weight by taking a bath, haha biggrin.gif Sounds like fun! Although, it does seem sort of dangerous with the dizzyness and all.

thanx for sharing!!! i've suddenly got pooping problems over this summer and i'm like well known for this prob. among my friends! Now i can stop it! laugh.gif

:/ i haven't lost any weight
maybe it's b/c my water's not hot enough?
i run out of hot water before the tube fills up sad.gif
i still sweat though..not a lot
or maybe it's b/c i can only do it twice a week when my mom isn't home

Even if I wanted to try this, I wouldn't because I cannot stand the heat at all =P I also don't want try skin and this takes way too much time for a second year University student!

I don't think this should replace exercising and eating healthy. It sounds more like these spas here in the States that take off extra fat tissues and stuff.

I'm sorry but this is a joke. Losing weight by soaking in a hot tub LOL...God forbid exercising.
Definitley agree. If I was to do this it'd be after a nice hard workout or a long day just to relax. I'm sure there are some health benefits but it seems like a "get skinny quick" thing.

.... it's like a sauna....seriously, just exercise. the hard work will pay off. you can't get real results without it. there is no such thing as an easy way.

I do this a lot - especially if I'm really busy. It helps with the blood circulation and its very effective and I personally think it's relaxing =)

If you're just starting this out, then don't soak for too long. You might faint from the heat and stuff =/

Interesting.. I think I might try this on a cold(er) day because it's boiling hot right now. I'm not sure, but I don't think I'd rely on this just to lose weight.

I started my diet and decided to try this out as well.

...

OMG. This kicked my butt. I was really tired at first, and you sweat A LOT~! I did it for the whole 45 minutes, but the last 15 minutes were really hard to convince myself to stay in cause I thought I was going to pass out. So yeah, if you're just starting I think 45 minutes is too long. I'm going to keep on trying this the new few days just to see if it works at all. At the very least I'll get healthier skin~

On the plus side after my initial feeling of tiredness I did feel slightly more energized.

The water for me never got cold either. But in my shower/bath, it has the sliding glass doors, rather than just a curtain, so I think that kept the heat in better. Also, every few minutes I would turn the hot water back on for a few seconds just to make sure the water stayed warm.

But I still had a question. How long should we wait to take a shower after this? Is a few minutes okay? I'm not sure XD

NO

ok i've done this for almost 2 weeks now, i found that the first couple times i accidently put my hands in the water (u have the tendency to want to do that trust me, bad reflects) and im like CRAP. lol eventually i got the hang of it... but it really doesn't work... if u really wanna diet i suggest something else.. Just like drinking hot or cold water your body burn calories to make the water body temperatured... same with this purpose.. your lower body is hot.. it burns calories by matching up with the upper body... BUT letting u guys know it burns calories but not a significant amount to actually make u lose weight. Its the Truth.

this kinda reminds me of the sauna........like sweating to lost weight, but this diet doesn't sound too trustworthy. then again eveyone's body is different. maybe this method did work for certain ppl

um...actually..hot baths are THE WORST for women.....can you spell YEAST INFECTION?
I mean I guess if you do the Ban Sin Yohk like...twice a week wouldn't hurt..but you gotta think about the sensetivity and health of your...lady flower..hot baths can really do some damage.

I just shower right afterwards. I don't think it matters.

I didn't really mean to do this but I took a hot bath today and most of the time it only came up to my stomach. I was in there for 30-45 mins and when I got out omg I felt so faint and tired! And my veins were pounding so hard I can feel it in my gums >.<

And I did drink water throughout the whole thing. I think it was just dehydration and the fact that the hot water was making my blood circulate better.
