in my japanese and taiwanese mags. they apparently all recommend it alot.

cuz its suppose to be really effective for loosing weight as well as helping with circulation and great for skin. maybe ill start doing this.

Sweating = water loss in the body.
Water =/= fat in the body. lolz.

Losing a few pounds for tomorrow's party-dress would make this supposed diet a very nice thing.

Hmm, I tried this once, OMG, it was hot. Also, i was bored out of my mind sitting there with my IPOD, i brought books with me too, and a watch to keep time. BORED. Haha, but i still wanna try since school's starting, it'll destress me. :]

Ayumi lost weight in her boobs by doing this? Wow, or did she mean the dance practices? If it's true, i definetly will do it again. I hate my boobies. >:[

I tried this the first day I found out (like in March?). I had a headache after the first 10 minutes.
Then I got lazy with the water waiting, so i stopped. xD

it was awhile ago when i first saw this thread.
i was in there for about 20 minutes. i lost like a pound or something laugh.gif
but when i got out i was soo sweaty and nasty but i couldnt even take a shower because i was soo tired.
i felt like fainting mellow.gif +my head hurt so much, i slept for the rest of the day >_<

It's winter over here and it seems I might catch a cold faster than losing the weights!

I think it may work COUPLED with proper exercises and a healthy diet - I'd probably do it more for relaxation than anything. The tub's so cute - very creative indeed!

i tried this yesterday.
i was sitting in there for 40 mins +
it was boring just sitting there and listen
to my ipod, reading, and drinking water
and i couldnt really bath cos when i when out, i was
tired thats i went straight to bedd,
so next time im gona take a shower before doing this.
i'll be doing this for a month and see if it works smile.gif

I tried this for 40 minutes exactly, but I don't think I used hot enough water. I sweated a lot, but I didn't get tired. @_@


It felt pretty good, though. (: I can't wait to do this again.

thats so not true... i find it hard to believe!! ... whats the difference between 'sitting down' and 'sitting down soaked in water'...? ... is water some sort of cream to lose weight? .. yeh woteva!! =p

I did this for about 40min ~ 1 hour for about a week and a half last year. I had to add boiling water that I boiled in a pot cuz I couldn't get my bath water hot enough for me to sweat. I also wore a hat to help keep the heat in my body (since most heat leaves from your head).

One of my relatives said ban shin yok helped her lose weight, but I saw no such effects. I just got really tired, got a cold from the temperature difference between the top and bottom of my body, and ended up with dandruff (idk if this part was directly related, or from a combination of factors).

I think it's just the same as a sauna. Some people lose weight from it, but a lot of people don't. It's mostly water weight that's being dropped temporarily until you rehydrate your body afterwards. But I think ban shin yok could have soothing effects on your muscles if done right. smile.gif

I really want to try this even if it's not for weight loss but just to be more healthy. It will be kind of hard because i personally do not like being in a sauna room. It just feels so icky.

but my family is so homo that we don't have a scale D:
but i did feel VERY tired! and like i was sweating like crazy! D:
