I recommend it to anyone who has bad skin. It helped improve my skin condition a little. It's probably because when your body sweats during the ban sin yohk, you also sweat out a bunch of toxins, or so my aunt says.. I lost a little weight after doing ban sin yohk, which is also probably due to A) burning calories and
Remember to moisturize with lotion after you finish.
...
...
Also? After scrolling through various comments like "this is a fad", I feel the need to point out that ban sin yohk isn't meant for you to lose weight. I was able to lose weight but I diet and exercise too. Ban sin yohk is more for health benefits than weight loss.

well, you have to have the powder or pouch thing to promote more sweating and de-toxing.

What kind of board does everyone use on top of their bath tub? Do you guys really just find a piece of wooden board?

Then again, you still lose sweat when the water begins to turn cold? o-O
Weird...
Also, I don't quite like the idea of having my skin being all shrivelled up afterwards if I were to spend 40 mins in it o-o
I just hate having prune-y skin > < !
Max I would be able to cope in it is 20mins - 30mins.

and got a bit exhausted after 15 minutes. my skin feels refreshed
and soft now though, which is a plus.
probably won't do this again due to me having to pay for water bills. :')

IT WORKS it definitely works.
i did it for 3 weeks in june before i visited minnesota.
i did it for 30 minutes everyday (minus weekends) in the morning after breakfast.
(i tried it before breakfast and i noticed i got more light headed)
i filled the tub before i got in. that was a pain.
i would start sweating right away. but anyways...
after the 3 weeks i was 8 lbs lighter.
but then again i also ate healthier too.
i ate 3 meals a day and drank a lot of ice water.
i cut out junk food. once in awhile i would slip and eat a cookie or something.
but yeah this is not a fad diet at all.
and it does really truly work. you just need to be consistent.

I did this for a while, and it's really good for you body (: relaxing, and the sweating makes you feel really good lol. Though if you're not hydrated enough, it might be uncomfortable. In my experience, I lost like a pound from it, but that was only because I didn't do it for an extended period of time.
