i'm pretty sure it's her as well.
anywho, i've said this before and i still stand by it, i think min is going to really take charge. her song "boyfriend" is extra adorable. she's a great singer, great dancer, plus she's got loads of charisma and charm. plus her demographic is lacking in a singer who's not too grown, not too childish, and with talent. also she fills the void that a lot of minority girls don't have nowadays..i mean specifically Asian girls..not that her being Asian is going to = success or failure, because she's marketable all around.
--voice: she's got a range on her and she's got a great tone to her voice, plus she's got just a hint of soul
--dance: c'mon,as you can see the girl has rhythm. she catches on to choreography, and executes it smoothly and doesn't look like she's counting.
--personality: from what i've noticed, she's got a very bubbly sweet personality and isn't full of herself. personable.
--marketability: girls will want to be her friend, guys will want to be her boyfriend. she can be an inspiration to other young girls and also to the Asian youth. also, she's MTV ready considering the veiwer age range (14-27), style of music(pop/r&b) and looks (face it the girl is adorable..not necessarily GAWJUSS, but that's a good thing, she can be versatile without having to be stuck in that one look ie--say Hilary Duff--she always looks the same..at least to me)
i think min fits the bill. and i have faith that JYP won't rainbow her out just to sell records. that's one thing i've always admired about JYP. he seems to care about the artists on his label as people, then as products. not the other way around. plus he's very good at marketing, especially the females...so i think min is probably going to skyrocket to the top.

yet i saw you all up on her myspace giving her props for how much you like her song? please. spare me.
Min can sing and dance. JYP is not pimping her out. if he were her image would be a lot less teenager and a lot more rainbow. again please. spare me.

I think she can only dance well
her song is catchy, but I don't think she can sing all that well.
I think she'll be more of a performer
She isnt doing anything new that other singers arent doing right now

Although I must say, her debut song "Boyfriend" sounds A LOT better. Good move.

I don't know what you're talking about
I use to like the song but now i don't. She can dance but i don't like her image. She is too young to be dressing like that and lil jon should be ashamed. And truthfully i want Rain to be the first asian to make it not her. Rain has worked so hard for this. Its not fair that JYP is doing that. Personlly she just don't have what it takes.

but i don't get the concept, it looks weird XDDDDD
i love boyfriend
the song and the choreography are better than go ahead
i love go ahead though
her voice is average but her dancing skill make it up^^

I dun think it's about her being the first asian star
I just don't think she is all everyone makes her out to be.
Just her dancing as I said before
she can dance her butt off.
But that's it, I mean c'mon Mya can dance better than this chick and she aint even doin that well
what makes u think Min will do that well.
But I feel bad
cuz I think people want Min to be cookie cutter like Boa
and people bash her cuz she's not.
She's not the only young girl dressing the way she does you know
Britney was doin it in her "Baby one more time" days

this is what i'm talking about(FROM MIN'S MYSPACE):
http://img39.picoodle.com/img/img39/5/11/6...ATm_b73e85c.png
mind you that was what a few weeks AFTER you posted how much you DIDN'T like her song.
you mean to tell me that's not you? this post from the Black Members thread says it's you. please again spare me the my happy poopoo. and if it's not you, you should be ashamed of jacking pics.
but you know what alright fine, people's opinions change.you say you used to like her song, and now you don't..that's cool, but why you gotta be a hater. every time you post something about her you're so negative, as if you've always felt that way.
she's not too young to be "dressing like that". dude she's 16. if you took a look in the 411 and fashion threads, you'd see LOTS of girls that age dress that way. and honestly what's wrong with her outfits. for one, that cleavage isn't even real,it's photoshopped, so it's not her fault, or the stylists fault. it's the photo editor's.
also what is JYP doing? fyi, he's been developing artists here in the states WAY before Rain even thought about it. sure Min is a newbie, as well as G and Lim, but JYP has had his foot in the US scene for some time, if anything Rain "wanting" to debut in the US was probably his idea, and since Rain left JYP i don't see why all of his (JYP's) plans should halt just because Rain left. and the band plays on and on, as the saying goes. i COMMEND JYP for not quitting because Rain left. JYP has other artists that are NON ASIAN as well, he's not only all about Rain and altho he cares for him like a father might, his life does not revolve around Rain. sorry.
now i like Rain alot, but his decisions and actions should not be held against JYP, Min or anyone else. and besides, what does Rain have to do with any of this, this is Min's thread.
back to Min, i think she does have "what it takes" if she didn't she wouldn't be in her position now. it may look like fun and games and oh she so "lucky" but no, if she didn't have "what it takes" trust, she wouldn't even have Lil Jon vying for her. i highly doubt he'd put his name on something that he didn't feel would get it..i didn't see him jumping to be on Rain's project(no disrespect to Rain but...). he saw Min and said she's the star (from the way the story was told) so what does that say.
