For the adult fantasy film Beowulf, Jolie plays the mother of Grendel the monster, who is the father of all evil from Anglo-Saxon mythology.

In her transformation for the role, the actress appears to have regained her famous knock-out curves, perhaps with a little digital assistance.


Filmed in a photo-realistic animation style, the release has been described by the Los Angeles Times as a "hyper violent and highly sexualized tale".

Jolie stars alongside British actors Ray Winston, who plays her evil son, and Sir Anthony Hopkins who plays King Hrothgar.


With Beowulf set to hit cinemas in the UK on November 16, the actress has already started work on her next project, the action movie Wanted.

Actually this is real. It's just an animated version of her and Angellina does know about it. I saw the preview for the movie in the theaters when I went to go watch Rush Hour 3.

She got naked and buck wild with Antonio Banderas in Original Sin years ago. She's a real actress, I don't think she has a problem with being naked.

I definitely think they digitally enhanced her curves. She's so skinny now..

Am I the only one that's not excited for this movie. We had to read the Beowulf in high school for Lit and this movies seems to disregard all of that (from what I during my stay at the movie theatre) and the guy is old too. 0__0 I'm am glad to see Angelina again though. Action is great!

^I was looking forward to it because I loved the epic in high school, but once I saw the trailer for the movie all of my anxiousness died. The movie doesn't seem similar in any way to the elegy.
