Please remember that people on soompi are on different levels of performing; there is no need to be outright rude about commenting on perfomances that you may think are sub-par.
1. The global rules are still applied in this forum.
This includes no profanity, no racist comments or innuendos, and no sexually explicit material. Violation of any of these rules will result in a warning and may result a posting ban for an indefinite number of days.
2. Do not go around the swear filter. Do not go around the 20 character filter.
Do not substitute letters with !, @, |, or $ to go around the swear filter. Doing so will result in a warning and a 7-day posting ban.
3. When commenting on clips, ALWAYS provide a constructive criticism.
Comment like "You suck" is NOT a constructive critism. Doing so will result in a warning as member bashing.
You can be honest about your constructive criticism, but there is a fine line between constructive criticism and insult.
.4. Do not start convos in a topic.
If you have to talk to someone specifically, do so by PM or e-mail.
Starting convos in a topic will result in closing of that topic.
5. Do NOT post someone else's work saying it's yours.
. If you are proven to do something like this, then it will result in a warning and a closure of that topic. You may post someone else's work for that person, but you must CREDIT that person, not yourself.
6. Do NOT post mp3 clips of professional singers.
This classfies under file sharing, which is not allowed on this site. Please do not post any songs sang by original artists.
7. ANY TOPICS/DISCUSSION RELATING TO AUDITIONS ARE TO BE POSTED IN THE AUDITIONS SUBFORUM.
8. Collabs may be posted as a topic on the performers section.
HOWEVER, you must provide the "[collab]" bracket in the front of your topic to let people know that the topic is for COLLAB PLANNING, not a completed clip.
When you finish your collab, you may post a new topic with your collab clip.
Make sure you ask me to close your collab planning topic. I
IF I FIND THAT THERE ARE ANY POSTS IN THE COLLAB TOPICS THAT ARE NOT RELATED TO PLANNING THE COLLAB, YOU WILL BE WARNED.
9. Do not bump topics or post "saved for later" (will post soon, etc) and not provide feedback to a perfomance.
Your post will be removed.
