i'd rather make it into a SUNY but it seems unlikely, so can you guys help me out with the better CUNY schools? which do you prefer?

i hear brooklyn and hunter is good.. but which is better?

how's queen's college and is City and CSI that bad?

i'm going to try to be an optometrist, and City and CSI has the pre-optometry program, but i'm not sure if i am qualified to be an optometrist since I am bad in math, and I am also interested in writing, and learning korean, which i think only Queens college has (korean)

thanks tongue.gif

is York College any good? i've never really heard about it..

and I think my choices in order of preference would be Queens, Hunter and Brooklyn, but is it better to switch the orders since I think Brooklyn would be more selective..?

i just handed in my CUNY application and wonder if i made the right choice for the major?

There were Liberal Arts and categories to choose.. i chose Humanities over Social Sciences..

what is the difference between these two? sorry i'm being such a dumbbutt sleep.gif

Um......
Humanities= Literature, Philosophy, Classics, Music, Arts, etc. etc.
Social Sciences= Anthropology, History, Geography, Linguistics, Economics, sociology, etc.

Liberal Arts is basically:
Humanities, social sciences, natural sciences.

And there's some overlap (probably).

thanks.. i'm just scared now because i put these schools in this order:

1- Queens
2- Hunter
3- Brooklyn
4- City
5-CSI

and they said the maximum you can get into is 3.
i only wanted the Queens since it has Korean classes but Hunter is for nusing which is my backup backup plan and Brooklyn has the best science courses, and i want to be an optometrist.. but only City and CSI has the optometry program, but they're not very good schools and they're also at the bottom of my list..

this is too stressful ><
