Swedish Fish...healthy?!

im addicted to swedish fish. they are DELICIOUS!

they sell them at my school in the vending machines. the only problem is, ive been hearing from a ton of people that swedish fish has mercury in it and can cause holes in the brain (possibly brain tumors?!)

is it true?! just wanted to know your guys' opinions...

i think you have yourself confused...why would a fruit/gummy snack have mercury in it to begin with? maybe you're thinking about Swedish Fish as in fish from SWEDEN o.O

as far as i know, eating candy in excessive amounts is bad for you. i never heard about there being mercury in it though.

i think food is healthy to eat and it doesnt mean that only swedish fish is good or bad,eating sweets is good and bad at the same time,same goes with fish.i believe that u shouldnt eat it too much,

but yeah they are good but remember candy in large amount's isn't good for you either
just 'cause it diesn't have mercury in it (yeah uhhh i dun think any candy does btw haha) doesn't mean that it's not bad for you!

lol the candy swedish fish doesnt have mercury but the live one prob has.

Never heard that before. Im from Norway and we have the company that makes the swedish fish is a co-op company in both swe/nor so I think I would know if it was dangerous.

I highly doubt any gummy snack has mercury in it.
Wouldn't it have been put out of business? But I don't think eating an excess of anything is good for you.
