Chae Yeon ends up in hosptal after overexerting herself

Sexy Korean singer, Chae Yeon was found to be running a high fever while doing recording for her new album yesterday (14th Nov) afternoon and was immediately sent to hospital.

The hopital expressed that the illness came about after Chae Yeon had forcibly overworked herself and thus advice her to stay in the hospital for treatment. Chae Yeon adhered to the doctor's advice and is heading to the hospital near her home for treatment.

Chae Yeon management company said, "We all though it was just the normal flu and really got a shock when they said she must stay in the hospital for a week. To understand the root of the illness, we are ready to let Chae Yeon take more detailed tests."

Chae Yeon was preparing for her new album scheduled to be out on Jan 07 and had been preparing for it since the start of November.

Poor Chae Yeon.... stay in the hospital for a WEEK?!!!

I really hope Chae Yeon feels better... I'm not surprised that she's overworked, because there was a article before, already saying that the company was putting a lot of pressure on her 4th album... but I didn't expect her to be sick enough to have to stay in the hospital for a whole week... I've personally never been sick enough to stay in a hospital for that long... my longest was 3 day probably.... Anyways I hope its not something too serious.

However, I'm also very pleased to hear that people are enjoying my fanfic... many people in the fanfix forum, commented that they thought my fanfic was unique how it used some events in the story, which really happened in real life... I've got alot of pm asking me to write out which facts are true and happened in real life, and which parts are made up! LOL

I will make a post of the true events that are mentioned in this fanfic, after I finish writing the rest of the chapters, till the end. I actually got this idea of making a story based on some truths, from the book, by Dan Brown, the Davinci Code! lol
Although my writing isn't nearly as sophisicated, I like the idea of making a story off things that really happend. Its brings in some reality to the fiction, and makes the readers feel that the story is more realistic and genuine. I'm so glad that soompiers find my fanfic interesting.

Biography

Beginning of career

It took Chae Yeon many years to attain her current level of fame in Korea's entertainment industry. In fact, she had to start out in Japan first, as member of group UltraCats (ウルトラキャッツ, UltraCats?) under the name of “Jinny” (ジニー, “Jinny”?) or “Jinny Lee” (ジニー・リー, “Jinny Lee”?) in 2000. She was also part of a singing group called Brand New Biscuits (ブランニュービスケッツ, Brand New Biscuits?), debuted in Japan on January 1, 2001, wheren it has 6 members. Having passed an audition held by an entertainment management company in Japan, Chae Yeon first appeared on a popular show called “Uchan Nanchan no Urinari!” on Japanese NTV. She appeared on the show for almost 3 years. Along with the television show, Chae Yeon (then Jinny) performed as a singer releasing 3 singles and 1 mini-album in Japan.


Pursuing career as an entertainer in Korea

She returned to Korea with her first official album It’s My Time under her new stage name, Chae Yeon. Debuting late in 2003, nobody expected her to be successful as she is now. Initially, she was simply viewed as yet another "sexy concept" singer, as many female signers were at that time. However, unlike many others, she had a fairly successful debut. She proved to be a great dancer, and she showed off her vocals in her ballad songs and live performances. Although her title song "위험한 연출" (Dangerous Presentation) did well, the music video was controversial for being too "racy" in conservative Korea (for it contained scenes showing her full back and exposed underwear)[1]. Subsequently, the video was banned on television, and the airing time was limited to after 10:00 PM in some cable channels[2]. Her real success came when her 2nd album released late in 2004. "둘이서" (Two Of Us) the lead single, pushed her to #1 on many music charts in the spring of 2005 [3]. Becoming heavily played on radio, the song became so popular that a signature "move" from the choreographed dance became known as the "Na-na-na" dance (named after the hook of the song). It managed to hit the top of various music charts in Korea. The follow-up single "다가와" (Come to Me) was released soon after and was also popular, riding on the wave of its predecessor.

She returned after a brief break in order to release her third album III, which came in the fall of 2005. The first single, "오직 너", fared poorly on the charts, as it was not a strong dance single, lacking a catchy hook. The record company then quickly switched to the "Disco Mix" of the song, which helped sustain its life on the charts, although not by much. The second single, "세번째 사랑" (Third Love), also fared poorly, despite the fact that it had a very sexy video and was a bit more uptempo than the lead single. However, this can be attributed to the fade of sexy R&B music in Korea at the time, as ballads were once again the style of choice for Korean singers; albums by other "sexy concept" singers such as Lee Hyori also underperformed.

Chae Yeon has managed to maintain her popularity by continually participating in variety shows, such as SBS's X-Man and Love Letter, where she portrays both cute and sexy images. Her appearances on these variety shows allowed her to display her bubbly and positive personality. Though, she ended her official schedule with her last X-Man episode on September 25th, Yuri was named as the one who would replace Chae Yeon as the single older woman who is constantly trying to appear younger. Chae Yeon has finished all activities in order to concentrate on recording her fourth album, which is scheduled for release in January of 2007. Chae Yeon is now focusing on vocal training, choreography practice and weight training.

However, I'm sad to know that Chaeyeon unnie got sick. I will be praying for her fast recovery. It's ok for me if her album will get delayed, as long as cy will stay healthy and not be pressured.

Chapter Two

Hye Bin watched Yunho, as he was leaving from the ‘Heroine 6’ TV set. Another female host from the show came up to Hye Bin. “You are so lucky to date such a handsome and sweet guy like Yunho!” she said. Hye Bin just smiled back. She had heard this kind of comment about Yunho, from many of her friends and so many other people around her. However, she started to wonder if dating Yunho was really worth it. “Do I really love him?” More than that, “Did Yunho really mean it, when he said he loved me?” Sometimes Yunho seemed to take their relationship so lightly and carelessly, that it bothered her.


“Come and sit right here,” said Brian, as he motioned towards a chair. Chae Yeon sat down. “What is it?” asked Chae Yeon. Brian stepped back, and then instrumental music started to play. Brian started to sing to the instrumental, and it was a sweet and slow ballad song. After he was finished, Chae Yeon clapped, “That was so beautiful, I never heard of the song before… what is the title of it?” Brian moved closer to Chae Yeon, “The title is… ‘That One Special Person’,” said Brian, “The reason why you never heard this song before is because I wrote it. Can’t you see? I wrote this song about you.” Chae Yeon’s eyes widened, “Wow, I don’t know what to say…” Brian moved in a little closer to Chae Yeon, and then they shared a long, sweet kiss.

“I want us to sing this song together as a duet,” said Brian, “It can be one of the tracks for your fourth album with me featured on it.” Chae Yeon smiled and snuggled close to Brian. “Sure, that sounds wonderful! Thank you for doing this for me.” Brian opened up a piece of paper, “Here are the lyrics and melody of the song. We can record this song, in your next recording session.” Chae Yeon looked at the lyrics. “Wait a minute! How come my manager and the music producers aren’t here? I was suppose to meet them here for a recording session.” Brian gave Chae Yeon a knowing smile. “I know… I talked to your manager and told him about my song. I’ve already got his approval on our duet, as long as we keep a low profile. You know, so the public doesn’t suspect we’re dating, then he’s fine with it!” Chae Yeon’s jaws dropped, “Really?! I don’t know whether to be surprised because Joon Kyu approved of our duet, or because you thought so far ahead about this, which is so unlike you by the way!” Brian started to laugh. “What is that suppose to mean? I always like to think ahead about things!” Chae Yeon laughed, “Ha ha… sure, yeah right!”


Later that night, Hye Bin came home from a long day and was waiting for Yunho to call as he said he would. “Don’t call first, Hye Bin… you can’t keep on calling him first,” she kept telling herself. But she couldn’t hold in the frustration any longer. She picked up her cell phone. One ring, two rings, “Hi Hye Bin, I’m sorry I couldn’t call you back… I was so busy today,” Yunho explained, “Look I have to go… I’m in the middle of a photo shoot and our break just ended. I’ll call you tomorrow, ok?” Click. Hye Bin threw her cell phone onto her bed. “You’re always too busy for me!” said Hye Bin, as she looked at a picture of Yunho in her room.

The next day, Chae Yeon met Hye Bin in the Fitness Center Gym, which is located in Kang-nam Seoul, where many Korean celebrities work out. “Hi Hye Bin!” said Chae Yeon, “So, how’s it going?” Hye Bin sighed, “Ok, I guess… I heard you are busy preparing for your next album. So I guess you won’t have time to talk, after your work out?” Chae Yeon looked closely at Hye Bin. “What’s wrong, Hye Bin?” Hye Bin turned away, “Its nothing, never mind.” Chae Yeon grabbed Hye Bin’s arm, “No, its not.” said Chae Yeon, “Ok, let’s talk after our workout.”

“I’ll have a tall iced latte,” said Chae Yeon. “I’ll just have some green tea,” said Hye Bin. They both sat down in the private VIP Lounge of the Café. “Ok, now that we’re finally in privacy, you can tell me what’s going on,” said Chae Yeon. Hye Bin looked at Chae Yeon. “Ok, it’s about Yunho…” Hye Bin started.


Chae Yeon looked at the new X-man set. “Hey, what are you doing here?” asked Haha. “I came to see watch you guys tape the new X-man. I heard about its new games and format,” said Chae Yeon to Haha. “I’m kinda nervous about it,” said Haha, “Oh look, its Yunho. Hey Yunho!" Yunho turned around and started walking towards Haha and Chae Yeon. “Hi Haha. Hey Chae Yeon?! I thought you quit X-man a few weeks ago?” asked Yunho. “I did, I just came to visit,” answered Chae Yeon. Yunho started to walk away. “Well, have fun. See you guys later.” Chae Yeon stopped Yunho. “Wait! Can we talk in private? I need to talk to you…”

“Really, I didn’t know that,” said Yunho, looking surprised, “If Hye Bin felt that way, why didn’t she come and talk to me about it?” Chae Yeon looked at Yunho. “Well maybe because you’re always to busy to talk to her, so she didn’t get a chance to tell you how she feels.” Yunho sighed, “Well, I have been really busy, with all of the DBSK’s 3rd album activities…” Chae Yeon noticed how worn out and tired Yunho looked. “I know,” said Chae Yeon, “I just wanted to let you know how Hye Bin feels… you really should pay more attention to her.”

Hye Bin looked at her cell phone and was surprised to see that it was Yunho calling. “Wow, he actually remembered to call back this time!” Hye Bin thought, as she answered her phone. “Hello, Yunho?” “Yeah, its me…” said Yunho, “I don’t have another schedule tonight until 12. So, can we meet right now? I think we need to talk.” Hye Bin started to grab her purse. “Ok, where should we meet?” asked Hye Bin. “You just stay where you are, I’m on my way up to your place,” answered Yunho, “I’ll be there in five minutes.” Click.


“Wow, I can’t believe we finished recording our song in less than 6 hours!” said Chae Yeon. “I know,” said Brian, “Usually it takes at least 8 hours to record a track… Look Chae Yeon, I’m planning on going to America to visit my parents soon, do you want to come with me?” Chae Yeon looked at Brian, “To America? You know I can’t. I’m way to busy…. Besides, I thought you agreed to go to Kang Ho Dong’s wedding with me,” said Chae Yeon. “I know, I didn’t forget that, how I could I miss Kang Ho Dong’s wedding?!” Brian laughed, “My flight is actually 2 days after the wedding.” Chae Yeon smiled. “Oh, ok,” she replied. Brian grabbed Chae Yeon's hand. “Come on,” said Brian, “it’s getting late, I’ll give you a ride home.”


“Well, if you felt that way about our relationship, you should have told me! Not Chae Yeon?!” said Yunho. “Well, I didn’t talk to Chae Yeon, because I wanted her to tell you…” started Bin, “I mean, I was just talking to her as a friend for support, I never asked her to talk to you.” Hye Bin looked so confused and hurt. “I know…” said Yunho, “We haven’t been able to spend as much time as we should. Especially, since I’ve come back from Japan, but I’ve really been busy, Hye Bin.” Yunho took something out of his pocket. “It’s a couple ring,” said Yunho, “I know I should have got you this a long time ago…” Hye Bin’s eyes widened, “No, its beautiful!” exclaimed Hye Bin, “I absolutely love it!” Yunho put the ring on Hye Bin’s finger, and looked into her eyes, “I know I may seem too busy for you sometimes, but that’s because I am really busy. It doesn’t mean, I’m not thinking about you, and it doesn’t mean I’m not taking our relationship seriously.” Yunho continued, “ I won’t make a promise that I can’t keep, so I can’t even promise you that we can spend more time together because of my hectic schedule. But I will promise to call you more often….” said Yunho. “I understand,” said Hye Bin. Yunho stepped closer to Hye Bin. “So am I forgiven?” asked Yunho. Hye Bin smiled. “Ok your forgiven.” Yunho held Hye Bin in his arms. It made Hye Bin's heart feel so warm and safe. She then realized that she really did love Yunho.
