And I can only wear skirts and one pair of jeans. I, too, want to lose weight, but I have no idea how. Most og my bottoms don't fit me that well anymore, but I don't want to buy new ones coz I love my jeans.
At first, I thought this was just a temporary weight boost that would go away in a while, but it isn't going anywhere. 0___0 At the meantime, I can't shop for jeans coz they won't fit me well at this time.
I also don't have the time to exercise since my course involves lots of sitting time.
Does anyone know an effective way to lose all those stupid fat with minimal execise? I'd be thankful for any help.
I'm weighing 115 lbs, btw. Previous weight was 97-99 lbs.

Breakfast:
Lunch: Oatmeal
Dinner: Chicken or Fish (not fried)
If you get hungry in between... try fruits xD
My sister's boxer's diet... well... she goes boxing and follows that diet
And she lost soooo much weight xD
I dunno if the effect is the same if you don't box

and to the above post, you shouldn't starve breakfast. eating breakfast will help you get your metabolism running, meaning more calories burned throughout the day.

eat healthy, cut those sugary soda and chocolate crap... the best way is to start drinking water... if you drink other stuff like soda or juice (depends on the juice) stop drinking those and drink only water...
begin to check how much calories you are eating each day... calories are measured in either kj (kilo joule) or kcal (kilo calories)... i prefer to use kj... so, a grown man, needs about 12 000 kj each day... so lets say a woman needs about 10 000 kj... just meassure how much you eat each day... and try to take in less calories... just dont overdo it because you cant live without calories...
dont eat too much of those fatty stuff like hamburgers each day, specially mcdonalds food... even the salad there is tainted with sugar...
many ppl dont like to eat fruit, but try to atleast to eat an apple or something once a day or a week, and then begin to eat more when you're getting used to it...
when it comes to exercise, go buy a jumping rope and jump about 500-1000 times a day... and then try to increase a little each day... watching tv while doing it is best... or simply do it with a friend so you can chit chat with them while jumping...
btw, breakfast is the most important meal of the day.. if you dont eat breakfast the energy you need will be drained from other parts of your body like stomach, liver or other organs... eat breakfast, after 2-3 weeks with eating breakfast you will feel that you can handle more stuff through the day than not eating any breakfast at all....

Laugh and the world laughs with you, Cry and your mascara runs!

eat healthy but eat less than you normally do.
like lets say you eat one full bowl of rice for lunch and dinner.
cut it down to like 1/3 of the bowl..
and when you have free time exercise..
i actually think that you can never
lose weight with out
exercising..

- You do not need to exercise to lose weight. It does a world of magic if you choose to.
- In order to loss weight, you must have a negative calorie deficit. This means you burn more calories then you eat.
- Never starve yourself. You will gain weight if you do so. Your metabolism will slow down and everything you eat will be stored into your glycogen (fat) deposits.
- Click here! Click the link to figure how many calories you need to eat each day. Don't use the link if you are trying to gain muscle.
- Eat at least 5 small meals per day or every 2 hours. This will give you the right amount of energy throughout the day.
- Read the food labels. It will tell you what is in your food.
- Eat natural foods.
- No High fructose corn syrup. No Partially/Fully Hydrogenated anything. They will cause spikes of insulin and make you fatter.
- Avoid white rice and bread. They are empty calories. Go for whole wheat. I know it is hard for Asians, but try.
- Drinks lots of water!!! Like a gallon a day. It is a 0 calorie drink. Plus, water comes with tons of other benefits.
- Tea is the second best drink you can have. It has a lot of the same properties as water. Though, it is not a replacement for water.
- Don't use weight loss products. They either don't work or have no substantial results. Also, they can harm you.
- Remind yourself of your goals constantly. You are bound to get offtrack if you don't constantly remind yourself of what you want.
- TRY to get 8 hours of continuous/undisturbed sleep at night.
- Health is a lifestyle not a fad.
and to the above post, you shouldn't starve breakfast. eating breakfast will help you get your metabolism running, meaning more calories burned throughout the day.
try snacking on healthy stuff like fruits ^^
and keep ur dinner light.

I don't know. But I don't like it, because I have fat on my arms now.
I actually wanted the excess fat to go away, but even though I walk 4-7 floors a day, and more across the university, I still am not losing any weight. I am eating less right now, and I hope it will help.
5'3".
My mom went through this rice diet a few months back, as prescribed by her doctor. She didn't eat any rice, but instead ate bread and other carb substitutes. And it worked. I wanted to do the same, but I love rice. T_T
And it's hard to get any carb substitutes anywhere near the Uni...almost every foodshop serves rice.
It's worth trying, though.
Thanks for all the replies. :x I replied so late coz I wasn't able to check on this.
