I want to say John Dalton, but for some reason that seems wrong because I don't know if he actually used the word 'atom' or just used the concept of it.

I did Wiki it. But it said that Democcritus created the word "attomus" which meant unbreakable. (that was in Latin). and I need to know who coined the term for atom in English not Latin.
