So a few days ago, my computer froze up and came to a blue screen that said "beginning physical memory dump" i restarted cuz they said if this is the first time just restart. Then after a few hours, it came up again.. it's been fine so far but.. is there a problem with something on my computer?

You'd have to post more about the error messages which you can probably find in Event Viewer. Right-click My Computer and select Manage. Should be pretty simple from there on.

As for the memory dump, right-click My Computer and select Properties. Goto Advanced tab, click Settings under Startup and Recovery. Under System Failure are options to adjust what happens when a serious error occurs. Normally the memory dump is pretty useless to the normal user unless you plan on giving it to someone who's trained to analyze it. Just knowing a few details about it is enough for the average user (refer to Event Viewer or the next time it happens, copy that what it says).

Memory dump can be as big as the total amount of RAM that you have which can be very space-consuming. It should say where it's stored in the above steps. You can most likely safely delete it, though keep it for a few days if you aren't sure.

The instructions applies to Windows XP and are probably similar for older/newer OS. Of course, if you can, take care of it soon as data may be corrupted and it's probably not the best for your computer.

Right click My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Startup and Recovery "Settings" > Drop down part that says "Write debugging information" and change it to none.

I HAD THAT SAME PROBLEM (it said physical memory dump)! At least, if it's similar to what I had... you will want to back up all of your stuff now. My laptop just TOASTED COMPLETELY. The HD is burnt toast, there's no way to recover it, and 3 years of my life just went and poofed.
I stopped believing.
