In response to the great popularity of 2006's Boys Love, director Terauchi Kotaro and star Kotani Yoshikazu team up again in 2007 for Boys Love The Movie. The first film was a straight-to-video production featuring Kotani Yoshikazu and fellow The Prince of Tennis Musical graduate Saito Takumi (Sukitomo), but this follow-up takes the story of men in love to the big screen, painting a bishonen portrait of forbidden love and beautiful tragedy.



Aoi Kairu (Kotani Yoshikazu) teaches at one of the nation's most prestigious boarding schools. One day, after a falling out with his girlfriend, he meets a young guy who provides him comfort and consolation during his time of need. Soon after that, a new student, Sora (Kanno Atsumi), transfers into his class, and much to Kairu's surprise, it is the same boy he had encountered before. Kairu tries to put the past behind him and keep their relationship a secret, but the brash Sora is not about to let go of love so easily.

What the heck?! So I got the first movie, and now I'm just totally like.....GAH! It's this whole tragic love story?! Good movie, but I love happy movies. I mean, sure, everyone ends up together in the end...in a *way*.

Like Formula 17! Everyone is happy in the end.

Again, really good movie! It's just that it was sOO sad to watch. : O. This new one that came out so better have a happy ending. Thank you so much for telling me about this movie though. I don't know how I ever would've found out otherwise.

Uh no, it's not ^^;; They just use the same title, same director, same actor.. well, just Kotani though, but with whole different characters and storyline. I really can't wait for this one since there are more characters [most of them are Tenimyu boys ] and I think there'll be a love.. square..?

Also, Yes, they died at the end of the first BL movie T_T. The scene hurts me a lot.

Oh my gosh the first BL movie was crazy sad! So many depressing scenes. There is still one scene where I'm not sure *what* happened. You know the one the stall? Did nothing happen? Or did something happen? It's a mystery to me. I know something happened, but to what extent?! Hmm.

Haha I think quite many people are shocked at first, including me ^^;; But he's not the youngest [lead] actor in the movie. Kawakubo Yuki, who played his roommate/classmate [the one with glasses] is only 16 =D I'm not really sure, but I think his character has a crush on the teacher..?


Anyway, yes, the first movie was really sad T___T The ending hurts so much! And the stall scene.. [highlight]Noeru[Saito Takumi] dragged him into the stall and gave him blowjob. It was the only sexual-related activity that they ever did. Heck, they didn't even kiss in the movie *__*


It was not surprising to see young actors playing BL character. I've watched a series that features stories about forbidden love [BL, GL, incest *_*] and in one of the BL arc, the main actor is 17 ^^;;

Haha, I was so confused... I saw the trailer for this on YouTube the other day and thought, "Wait... I remember watching a movie with this title, and this actor... but nothing else looks familiar!" Nowwww I see. Kinda weird that they gave it the exact same title, though. 0_0
The 1st one struck me as very cliche... But I'll probably end up watching this new one anyway. XP

ok so i watched the firsat one but couldnt find any subs will someone tell me what happened like at the beginning when the 2 main characters are in the stall what does the guy do to him to make him sound like that and why does the kid with the glasses end up balling his eyes out


and did that guy rape the model in the park and why does he end up sleeping with him he punched him the face!!

Eden>> In the stall scene, Noeru [the model] gave Mamiya [the reporter] a blowjob =P Chidori [the kid with glasses] actually had a feeling for Noeru, but Noeru only likes him as a friend. Chidori finally confessed to him but was rejected by Noeru.



And yes, Noeru did get raped in the park by that drunk man. Horrible, horrible scene -___-;; But he didn't slept with him afterward though; it was different man [he slept with many men >_<].

I don't think anyone ever subbed this movie... *sigh*
