Brazil 4.2
Argentina 8
England 8
Germany 10
Italy 11
Holland 12
France 15
Spain 15
Portugal 26
Czech Republic 29
Sweden 51
Croatia 67
Ukraine 67
Ivory Coast 81
Mexico 81
Serbia & Montenegro 81
Switzerland 101
USA 101
Poland 126
Australia 151
Japan 201
Paraguay 201
Ecuador 251
Ghana 251
South Korea 301
Tunisia 351
Togo 401
Angola 501
Costa Rica 501
Iran 501
Saudi Arabia 751
Trinidad & Tobago 2001

So according to the oddmakers Korea has the 25th best chance out of the 32 of winning the Wolrd Cup belows teams like Australia, Japan and Ivory Coast, and the following results:

Round of 16: Brazil, Argentina, England, Germany, Italy, Holland, France, Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic, Sweden, Croatia, Ukraine, Ivory Coast, Mexico, Serbia & Montenegro

Quarterfinals: Brazil, Argentina, England, Germany, Italy, Holland, France, Spain

Semifinals: Brazil, Argentina, England, Germany

Finals: Brazil, Argentina

Champion: Brazil

The popular picks among the tipsters though who tend to be more accurate are in order:

England
Brazil
Holland
Czech Republic
Germany
Italy
Portugal
Spain
Serbia & Montenegro
Argentina
Croatia
Mexico
USA

Anyway I'll have a better read on whether or not Korea can make the Second Round after December 9.

Why?

They barely qualified for their regional World Cup QUALIFYING.

They did well in 2002 but a lot has happened since then. You can't judge teams based on performances 4 years ago.

Have you even been following Korea recently?

The last three games we played (with the new coach):

Korea 2 : 0 Iran

Korea 2 : 2 Sweden

Korea 2 : 0 Serbia Montenegro

haha. Korea barely qualified because of boner. such a horrible coach, and now has a new coach, Advocat. He's been impressive and i hope he can show more magic at the WC. he sure did fine against sweden and serbia & mont.

They have suprised many countries and there the underdogs .. but i dont see them advancing, especially when they are gonna play Holland and Argentina.

Mexico is OK; they aren't very rated high from people even tho they do beat good teams but it seems like they lose a lot to the US
