[Nuke]

This just randomly came on my screen awhile ago:



I don't know what is is, but in the last few months it's happened three or four times. :| Not all that frequently, but enough times that I'm worried. I'd just be on my laptop when, without any warning (no error messages or anything of the sort), the screen would turn to THAT and I'd have to shut down my laptop to use it again. >___>; Does anyone know what it is?

Have you tried a virus scan already?

Yes. Every time it comes up I do a virus scan using AVG, and it never picks up anything new/related to that.

I really don't know what it is, so don't listen to me!

If it's not a virus, then it could be something wrong with your graphics card? or the graphics card driver?

I don't know, I'm more "internet" then "hardware", but I thought I would offer my opinion.

next time you see that funky screen move the lcd around and see if it comes back. That might indicate a bad ribbon. Otherwise hope you have warranty!!
There might be a lot of dust clean that but your video chip might be frying....
