I've used two wireless mouses so far and what I get turned off by is that the battery life is usually REALLY SHORT. Which mouse do you guys use? and I want to know which ones are better: wireless or the plugged ones.

i have 2 wireless mice. its quite nice. for my laptop, i have a Microsoft notebook one that uses a AA battery i think. it lasts a few months before it dies, which is prety good. the mx700 i use on my desktop computer uses 2xAAs...but i usually just stick it in the recharging cradle before i sleep...never had it "die" on me yet, since its always charged, lol.

how long is your battery life? i suppose if you really hate dealing with batteries, you could go wired tongue.gif my keyboard is.

haha i love the idea of the recharging cradle!!

hmm, my current wireless mouse lasted me less than a month.. maybe less than that. It may be because my parents bought me a cheap mouse. rolleyes.gif

lol. perhaps. i have another microsoft wireless mouse. with it, you hafta take out the batteries and replace them. but with some mice, like my old mx700, you just stick it in the charger, and you never hafta open it up. maybe consider something like that if you still want to go wireless. wink.gif

i have a MX1000, that I haven't used for a while (too heavy for my weak wrists), the battery life on that thing was like around 2 or 3 months. The box claimed 6 months, but that's probably on standby.
I am the minority here.

I have MX400 (wired), it's pretty nice, and I think I'll stick with wired.

For my laptop, I either use this really tiny mouse that plugs into the USB or my tablet for when I'm doing more artistic crap, lol. The mouse for the tablet is wireless of course, but the tablet plugs into the USB as well.

I used Logitech bluetooth wireless mice before, and the battery lasted for weeks of everyday use. Loved it.

But since I like to be more mobile, I've trained myself to use the touchpad on my laptops. smile.gif

MX500. I've only used wired mouses. If I ever need to change my mouse, then I'll probably get wireless.
