I know theres a topic for AVI files, but umm I hope its okay for me to make a separate topic.

I have a Mac OS 8.6 (I know it's kind of old. xD)

And I want to play AVI files but it won't work. I mean I can hear the audio of the AVI file, but can't see the video of the AVI file whenever I play it in Quicktime.

.. I need help. >.<

I spent a good amount of time googling this for you. It's been very hard, but knowledgable at the same time. I've always been a Windows user, but I have used Mac before, only OS X and above. I've tried VLC player, MPlayer, WMP, the newer DivX codecs, but NONE of them would work for anything below OS X. Except WMP 7.1, but I figured if WMP doesn't support AVI on Windows, it wouldn't support on Macs.

So here you go.

You'll have to download DivX Video Bundle. You'll have to register to download though so go here.

I know for sure ZDNet is a safe downloading site so just do it.
