Well, I'm thinking of being an elementary school teacher, and I'm not quite sure how the teaching thing works.. so I was just wondering, what exactly is the path to being a teacher? Like, what do you need to take in college and afterwards? Any suggestions? I'm just curious what is needed to become a teacher. So yeah, post your knowledge! :)
And for those of you who are teachers or have that experience, what do you think of your job? Do you enjoy it? Stressful? Easy? I mean for elementary school, of course.
Thanks! :)

You graduate college then get your teaching credentials.
A lot of teachers major in child development or behavior..
If you live in Cali, you should check out the CSU's cus they have lots of teaching programs.
I actually took a Intro course to teaching @ CSU Fullerton & it was kinda ehhh.
Lots of writing, but hey if I decide to be a teacher, I won't have to take that class.

I believe it's different with colleges.
I think some education degrees while others you choose a subject and then get teaching credentials.
Also, note that nowadays, a Master's degree is seen as par in a lot of schools.
