i remember seeing the poster of this when i went to the theatre and was like O_O because whatisthis! haha maybe it's just me, but i don't like when "real things/people" are mixed with "computer animated" characters, you know? i mean it's different if it's like.. X-MEN or something, but when it's like this, Garfield &etc it just throws me off...

but i do agree with you! i loved alvin & the chipmunks when i was younger. haha XD; i love their cousins too, jenette, bridget and eleanor? omg i think i'm spelling their names wrong. but yeah :) my cousins & i used to be the chippettes, as in based on our personality & everything, and it was totally fitting.

I never seen Garfield, kind of threw me off and yeah real live and cartoon computer animnation don't mix. Haha I think they probably throw in the Chipettes as the rival for the movie.

I won't see the movie though lol they die out long time ago but they just look kute how they design it and it was werid seeing it when I was browsing what was new and upcoming movies.

I loved the series as a child, however I don't think I'd like it all the same as a grown up.

This is such an 80s-90s show, and it should stay right there - in the past, IMO.

I read about this a couple of months ago and honestly, I'm super excited about it haha I love Alvin and the Chipmunks. Loved them then, love them now. Can't wait for this movie to come out!!!

I would've never thought David would be played by Jason Lee. I kinda found that weird but he's a good actor though.

I don't know if I want to see this...Seeing them all CGed is weird. It just seems really awkward and out of the blue to bring them back like this, but that's the new trend, I guess. But on another note...

I was wondering why there isn't a topic about this movie, or maybe I couldn't find it

I just watched it last night. Despite the critics reviews (which are always harsh ) I love the movie!!! I laughed from the beginning till the end.

My fav. chipmunk is Theodore cuz he's so fat lol yet so cute. and I can't believe Jesse McCartney is the voice of Theodore haha

My friends are planning to watch it next weekend <3
I don't care for critics review, when I heard they did the remake of Witch Doctor and Funky Town I fell in love <33
And anyways, The Chipmunks IS kid/family movie, of course most adults won't like it :]

I loved Alvin & The Chipmunks when I was little and I love Jason Lee, but I don't like the idea of the chipmunks being completely CGI.

My neices and nephews (ages 4-10) seemed to enjoy it though.
