I go to the Arts Institute in Orange County. Its good. But if you want an art school that is suuuuuuuper strict and the teachers are all like robotic art nazis, then go to the The Arts Center. Its in CA.

it really depends on what field you want to get into.
so look at each schools and see what they're known for, and what classes they have, etc.

you should just apply to anything that has a strong department in your major
then just go to one that offers a lot of scholarships and aid & of course is in a good location.

I used to go to Art Center in Pasadena CA.
They have advertising, graphic design, photography, transportation, enviromental design & illustration..
The schools ok (but EXPENSIVE, like any other art school) if you're interested in any of those majors..

Top ranked -
yale & School of the Art Institute of Chicago

then...
School of Visual Arts
stanford
chicago institute of art
columbia
rhode island school of design
Ringling
Pratt
cornell
Fashion Institute of Technology
Parsons
Savannah College of Art and Design
NYU
Cooper Union

I transferred to CU, My mom went to SVA & columbia, and I have alot of friends who are in or have graduated from the schools above (in everything from architecture, set design, film, illustration, graphic design to computer animation). Alot of them have their pluses (and of course minuses), depending on what fields you're looking at, what you want to eventually do & how to end up there wink.gif If you have any specific questions about these schools, you can pm me. Good luck on applying & hope they offer you a good package ~
