Is Verizon Ripping Me Off? wtf...

i had my fone for about a year now...and its getting on my last nerves...
i bought about 10 ringtones..? about the whole 1 and a half years i had this fone...and the price of the
bill is friggin 200 dollars on a 150$ plan...and so i thought that a ringtone goes on each month..so i deleted some..and the PRICE IS STILL THE SAME..its a family plan btw...
anyone know how to stop this?

Call the billing department or go to a local store and ask what's up.

I have verizon family plan too. I don't think it's the ringtones. Either ya text too much, send/recieve photos, or ya went over the minutes. ...Maybe?

idk they do have a tendancy to overcharge sometimes..just ask them about it and complain in the store..you're a customer so they'll try to shut you up..at least that's what they did with my mom..hahaha

Of course we don't know what's going on with your bills. You have to call Verizon customer service and ask them, since they have all the info. All we know are the basics, going over minutes and etc....which should be stated on your bill if it gives you all the details.

Same thing with my bills, sorta...My family plan is only like...Suposed to be $130 a month, but the usual bill is like $170. I think it's because my brother is a retard and uses too much minutes/texts.

My roomie went up to like $600 this month. She owes her mom $900 for both this month and last month.. Her family plan's never been on or around the price it's supposed to be (about $150 I think).

I just have a really bad impression of Verizon..

I think you should call them up, or check your phone bill records? That may help.

Really, if you think you're being overcharged don't just sit there and pay it. The bill they send you has every single service listed down into separate categories.. if there's a mistake in the billing, it shouldn't be too hard to spot. If you do find it, then just go and complain at the store, it's not that hard. If you don't find it, well.. you should still go to the store and ask, they know much more about your service than we do.

^ Alexiel says it best. Just go through your bill statement and if you spot something you don't understand, call customer service. If you are "people-shy", go login your online verizon account and contact them via email.

But yeah...ring tones are expensive. Assuming it is $3/month per ringtone..you pretty much spend and additional $30 to your plan...Rich ass people..

isn't the ringtones like 2.99 which is around 3 so if it's 10 of them it's about 30 dollars...... and since it is a $150 already it add up to around 180.... nd maybe the 20 dollars is for tax and stuff..... tax is like mini cooper..... they took a lot on my phone bill tooo.... and also my check.... which pays for the phone.... lol
