I don't drift (waste of tires IMO, I like going fast through corners, on track of course) but I can tell you the easiest way to get your tail out is pull that e-brake to lock up the rear, turn in one direction, let the back kick out, then counter. Chances are, you'll probably spin. It takes a some time before you can control your slide. I do not endorse any kind of street racing or illegal parking lot maneuvers but they do have Drift Days all over the country. Find one and learn. It will be best to have a RWD car. Yes, you can "drift" an FF car but the learning curve is a lot steeper than a RWD curve.
There are Girl drift teams. There's one in Japan called Gal Dori.

kidding. dont do that. haha
drifting is more complicated then it sounds/looks.
theres counter steer, timing, throttle control, etc and it takes time. but if u want to start, i guess google is a good place for info.

i always thought you can only drift with manual trans. cars ?
googling is easy to do its just that i dont get it when they put it in words
so i was hoping someone here could just explain it in steps
if someone gives me the 411 i was thinking about trying it in a parking lot lol
and okay tokyo drift got me "interested" in it.. well no thats not true
playing arcade games like initial D and that other one ... (forgot whats it called)
got me interested in it, but tokyo drift was the first movie where it shows you a
third person point of view to drifters so it looked even better on television i guess...
ok thats not the point

Darling chill out. No need to get sarcastic. You can see that he/she is pulling your leg and you took the bait.
Back on topic, first drifting takes a lot of skill and practice. Just because you saw something in the movies and playing games doesn't mean that it's easy. Most of the people that ask "How do I drift?" are people that have watched Tokyo Drift which in my opinion is bs. A majority of the people that there that are drifters were not "inspired" to drift because of some movie they watched.
If you're actually looking for drifting tips, this probably isnt the best place to find it.
But seriously, how many people have asked this same question because they watched Tokyo Drift?

Actually I was pretty sure she didn't know what donuts were. & Being sarcastic is a character trait/flaw of mine
If she did indeed know without googling it later on, then yes, you're right, I jumped right into it (:
Actually now it just sort of seems like this might be a fake account stirring up something funny?
I mean... I've never met anybody, girl or guy, who is that ignorant (refer to the post above this)
