ok..i'm suspecting something wrong with my car ....i'm sooo lost when it comes to cars..so can you guys help me..

all of a sudden my shift gear is very hard to pull....i have an izusu rodeo..to pull the shift gear i have to first push this thing on the handle of the shift gear then pull backward to shift..but now I have to keep on pushing the the button on the handle like 10 times before i can pull...if I have to make a wild guess..i think i need shifting gear oil change ?.......

There's a mode selector on the transmission that connects to your auto shifter. Either that's worn down or stuck.
