yesterday, i talked about my car and how im paranoid that it might get stolen (its a teg). i made a few more comments about how im glad there isnt that much car theft at our school and then she started going off on me and went "the hell i care" (from one of my firends at school)
so what rude comments have u gotten about your car or when you talk about cars?

my friend's gs-r with type-r conversions galore was jacked in a theater parking lot 5 or 6 years ago. maybe your friend honestly didn't care to hear that much information because it wasn't interesting to her. but that was rude of her.
i've gotten $#!+ about this:
but i didn't care. funny thing is i actually miss having that thing and wanna bring it back.

I find that amusing. I always wanted to do something similar to the tofu sticker but for my dad's donut shop instead as a joke.
There was one guy who transferred into my auto class. Out of 18 people, only two, one being the new transfer, are diehard domestic fans but one isn't bigoted towards domestics. We're talking about Civics, RX7s, Supras, all sorts of imports in drag racing. He just perks out of nowhere "Do you guys Tokyo Drift your cars" like a twit. Everyone gave him a cold staredown and literally told him to STFU.
I had to drive my dad's 02 Sentra when my car was down. One of my classmates was like
"Steven, this is a girl's car" (I can't actually disagree)

"you? drive a miata? PUAHAHAHAA'
"Do you fit in there?"
They can talk all they want, soon as I hit a windy pass, its GG.
Nothing beats fun in the sun TOP-DOWN. Besides all the girls think its cute =)

I guess they don't know that Volvo has long been using turbo charged engines and building some pretty darn quick cars that can outrun many cars out there on the road. Styling has changed from the boxy to the smooth streamlined models today over the past 15 years. Apparently the model that I own, the Volvo 850 is regarded as that transition vehicle from what Volvo used to be to what it is now.
Recently I got a appreciation (I mean mental appreciation) boost for my now 12 year old Volvo from this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xwhEzS9OC0

Name some of the fast ones, only fast volvo I know is the S60 R. I know some can last forever, but I didn't know they made sports cars.

The amazing thing was, if i'm not mistaken, Volvo's 1995 T5R was a direct competitor to the 1995 BMW M3. Both were yellow (well the BMW M3 also came in different colors) and had the almost exactly the same amount of HP and torque power, weighed nearly the same, both got good reviews, but now people don't even notice the old T5R anymore, I know of several of them (out of the less than 200), and some people pass by and think WTF is that ugly color?. Then they see Volvo and think its not gonna be fast... then they get a big surprise when that turbo spins...
After (and only) 1995, no more yellow T5R, it became the 850R, and lost its yellow heritage. Sadly the Volvo S60R is also discontinued... it will be a few more years till we ever see another sport oriented Volvo again.

The only comment I remember that's sort of negative was that my friend said the color of my car is gay (it's royal blue but it looks like it has a slight color of violet in the sun) -0-
