College Food Packing Ideas?

For dinners my mom packs some home cook food that I could just heat up. I'm curious as to what you guys like to cook/bring to school. I'm looking for some lunch packing ideas too. If I'm on campus, the drive back to the apartment could be a hassle. Any yummy recipes or good ideas to share?
This week I'm planning to cook pasta and use it up during the week...spaghetti one or two times and mixing it with veggies and some kind of sauce for another meal.

my cooking skills aren't up to par. so you would imagine what the majority of my options are like

Stirfry? I think with frozen vegetables it's quite simple since all you need to do is prepare the meat.
I usually stock up on udong noodles hahha. They're sooo easy to make! or buy pasta and cook it with cream sauce.

if you freeze pesto or almost any type of pasta sauce, it'll last forever.. just cook up the spaghetti noodles. i'm not really a picky eater though. i can eat leftovers like no other. i think fried rice lasts pretty long. i usually bring oatmeal in case i don't have food to eat, and meal replacement bars when they're on sale too. bring bread, jam, PB, cheese, and cereal for suree

Canned goods like Spam or veggies(potato), cube and cook it omelette style.
I'm eating potato omelete right now. Just add lotsa salt(not healthy) and pepper.
And if you're Asian, be sure you have rice; it goes with anything.
Something that's more appealing and could last a few days(3 tops)
Homemade tacos.
That's what my sister eats for lunch.
My mom would cook a huge batch of ground beef and taco suace(tomatoe sauce and/+ taco flavoring)
Then in 3 separate containers(cube, dice slice etc); cabbage, onions and tomato(enough to last a few days)
If you can't find taco shells, tortilla chips is a great sub.
Prepare everything the night before.
What my sister does is mix everthing together in one container and in another, the tortilla chips.
Eat it chips and taco, salsa style.
(I hope I made sense)

If I ever am hungry on campus during my break they have a grill where you can buy food and there are snack machine's around and to buy drinks.
I usually eat breakfast to satisfied me and wait until I get home to eat lunch.
