And from what you've described, it doesn't seem like a bad thing.
Make-up does wonders on "bad-overall-look" days.
Though your sister may have a point.
Maybe your make-up is a little too over the top.
Try saving up the good stuff (like the sparkly eyeshadow) for other occasions.
And experiment with minimal eyeliner and mascara.
Looking natural is possible whilst wearing make-up, ironically.

She actually put some powder on my face today because she wanted to see if it would make my face not look oily. It worked! Haha, but I don't know if I'd be allowed to actually continue using powder on my face. And if she does, that'll be the only make-up I'd be allowed to use until I'm legally an adult.

I don't actually put on a lot,
its 'cause my sister doesn't put any at all, lol!
That's just my older sister though, my second sister puts on a lot more.
Which is basically who I'm learning it from.
I put on a little silver/white eyeshadow at the bottom not on my eyelids.
I'm usually too lazy to put on black eyeliner since it always smudges. ):
Yeah, I love reading the tips from Soompiers most of them comes in handy too. (:

Depends on how heavily made up you are, than anything.
Just don't go over the top, and make it look as natural as possible,
if you worried about attracting too much attention. =)

Well in my personal opinion, it is quite early. But that's probably because I wear no makeup whatsoever, and girls here tend to start wearing makeup later than girls in the US (this is just based on what I know, so correct me if I'm wrong).
If you're comfortable with it, I see no problem. As mentioned, maybe you should tone down a bit on the eyeshadow, to save up for special occasions =)

Haha it was so bad. I used to cake foundation on. I think it might have ruined my skin a bit =/. I knew nothing about putting makeup on and it looked awful.
You should use everything you already do apart from the sparkly eyeshadow. Maybe you draw your eyeliner on too thick? Try drawing a very thin line instead...
You can still look natural with makeup.

I'm 14 too!!!
i started wearing makeup just recently.
i wear little eyeliner, white glitterly eyeshadow at the bottom of my eyes
the same as you.
the only problem is 14 year old= no money
no money= no makeup
so basically i have to use my parents' money.
and i cant use that much either. my dad will FAINT at the sight of $5 eyeliner, which is the price of eyeliners for some.
and my mom would be like... "DONT YOU DARE BUY THOSE CHEAP ONES" and hand me like $10 ones.
so i just have to save my money so i can get makeup on my own.
