Can Any1 Help Me W/ My Phone?

I just purchased a data cable off bargincell.com for my phone..

it's a kyocera K612 Switch_back (virgin mobile service)

and everytime I plug the phone into the cable it doesn't do any-
thing.. so.. i dl this software it said it need called bitpim but it
doesn't support my phone. i've tried another software too called
easyCDMA but it still doesn't work. what am I doing wrong?

I REALLY WANT MY KOREAN RINGTONES AND SUCH!! sad.gif

I would say you need to install drivers, but that's going to be hard to find since that phone is old. You could try asking at howardforums if you want, someone probably knows over there. You could always have a friend send it to you via text.

I tried that but it automaticly went to my saved sounds file and i can't use them as rintones... i went to howardforums but it only told me what i already knew.. do you know any softwares that could help?

Nope. That phone is old and I don't know much about Kyocera, software-wise, since they are not common and don't make phones that stands out like other brands.

sometimes the cord might be "defective"?
I had the same problem with my phone, and I went to the store and got another cord.
Sure enough, it worked without installing any drivers.
