i've recently been interested in cooking japanese and korean food.
was just wondering where i can find some good grocers to buy ingredients in melbourne.
any suggestions?
some recipes would be good too ^^;

there is 1 near victoria market.
u know where the tram stop is outside the place where they sell meat, it's just across the road from there. It's a corner shop so you won't be able to miss it. That is a korean groceries shop.

go laguna on the.. i think its the third or second level of QV its called laguna. theres also this really good korean grocery in box hill called charm mart, they got everything. its on carrington rd

there are some korean groceries stores on latrobe street isn't it...
and yes... the one opposite vic market, that's one of them.
not sure about japanese ones though...

You could go to Footscray, Lalor, Preston, Richmond or the City.
It's got all the basis to Asian groceries.
You just go to get off the Footscray station and walk down, and you'll
see a whole mass of shops. Same with Lalor, but i think you got to walk further down,
Preston, you go to walk down to high street and as of Richmond, just go to Victoria Street.
And in the city, you could just walk on the street where, Yellow and Blue house is =/
Forgot the street names ~ Theres this asian groceries place or Melbourne Central ground floor, but I go there for snacks.
