So here's my story:

I went to this lady to get my scar removed and instead it was her assistant doing it -_-
Well she used this vibrating needle like burner than would just prick my mole over and over again. It was quick zaps and then when she was done, a scab formed.
A week later, the scab fell off.
Then a crater formed -> O it was about that big.
My mole was smaller than that...<_<
Then it turned into a slightly pink-ish and slightly raised scar...still the size -> O
It's been TWO TO THREE WEEKS! and it's still pinkish and slightly raised.
It looks like I basically have a pimple or an acne scar...

It's slightly above my lips...where that mole was. T_T;;;;;;

What should I do to quicken this healing process or ...is there no hope for me to have it look like regular skin anymore -_-?
It's pinkish against my skin and before when I hurt my chin on a machine, the scar on the side of my face...isn't there anymore. How come this one's staying for so long?! ;____;

HELP PLEASE!

Where did you get it done? When I had my mole removed from my face (and it was smack dab in the middle of my face, so if they'd screwed up it would've been REALLY noticeable), I went to a doctor (who worked at a hospital ^^) who specialized in taking moles off OF THE FACE (I emphasize this, because removing moles from parts of your body that isn't that noticeable is different from the face. When my mother had a mole removed from the back of her neck, just a normal doctor was able to remove it, it didn't have to be a specialist).

He did a really good job, and when he removed it, he had it sent to the labs to make sure it wasn't cancer-prone. Now it's not noticeable at all. I have another mole on my face too so I wish I had it removed then too X_X

you just have to wait til the thing heals.. it will take a while.. but you can aply vitamin E cream on the skin to make the progress go faster...

and this one should go in the beauty section i guess smile.gif

aww it sucks so bad that the scar is above your lip =[ I have two scars that are exactly like what you described one on my neck and one on my knee. They're both pinkish and a little raised from the normal skin level... the scar on my knee is actually very noticeable cuz my mole was kinda big.... But i have no idea how to get rid of these... =(( Maybe i'll try laser treatment once have the money =P What do u guys think?

I did the same thing! I got my mole removed by burning it off with some chemical stuff, but when the scab came off, my skin was indented, then puffed out to form a bump. And what do you know, a keloid formed instead. dry.gif
It sucked.

When i went to get one of my moles removed, the lady also used that zapping gun also.
She told me to keep it dry for a week or so until the scab falls off. Cause if you get water on it, it'll get an infection.
Then after that week, I put vaseline on it for about a week and the skin grew back.
Maybe you should have a dermatologist check it out.

im planning on getting small moles like 2 lasered off..
thats creepz . i wouldnt even let assistants/trainees take my blood(injecting)
apparently for the best results you should stay in a dark room most of the day for a few days

hmm...i don't know how to explain this...
but, from your explanation, it seems similar to mine.
i got a scar after i got a mole removed too, and it turned into something like what you're explaining.
if it is similar, the scar you have is probably a keloid.

wow mole removing is becoming a trend.
but ya, i got 6 removed off my face this summer.
the smaller ones are gone.
but there's right right between my lip and my nose. so it's VERY noticeable. i got it done at the end of august.
o i got it removed surgically by a cosmetic surgeon. he's very professional.
and wut happened with my bigger mole was that...it never scabbed cuz i got stitches...but then, now, it's like that mole part is slightly pumped up. and it's white, but around it, it's pinkish.
but, my doctor said that it'll take at least 2-3 months for it to completely heal.
i see that it's getting better, so i'm not that worried bout it.

if u're rich, u can try the La Mer Concentrate. It's especially made for scars. i bought it just for this, and i think it really works. but i must warn u...it's $350 American. so ya...really, u don't need anything. it'll naturally heal.
it's just, with a cream, the process with move faster or the result can be a slight bit better.

This is what my dermatologist tells patients who want their moles removed: it's impossible not to leave a scar, you can't remove something and expect to leave no trace of what was there. It's a trade off, scar for mole. To get the best possible scar we refer people to plastic surgeons who can minimize the scar as much as possible.

It was around $50. If you're getting a mole removed that's not on your face, and you don't need to see a specialist for it, it's free. But since the mole was right dab in the middle of my face they charged me so they get someone who knows exactly what they're doing and can cut it in a way to minimize the scar ^^

^ oh wow, thanks for telling me smile.gif

EDIT:
I don't think it's a keloid though ._.
