Have you guys ever encountered body odour? My friend used to have/still have Body Odour..She told me that she used deodorant and perfume nowadays. Thus, the stink starts to get rid of itself..However, I find that her shirt at the armpit part on both sides are stained..There was one time when she told me to hold on to her shirt while she change into our PE attire..It smelled rather different..Do you have any TIPS to get rid of Body Odour? tongue.gif

I think body odour is natural. You can use anti-antiperspirant combined with deodorant to stop sweating and therefore staining, which still having a nice smell. I think I read somewhere your diet can affect you? Maybe try a healthier diet. Eat more fruits + vegs and drink more water etc.

Some people in my school have really really bad B.O.... I wish they would wear deodorant.

I just use deodorant everyday. If I don't and I sweat... not a happy ending. haha.

are you referring to arm pit odor specifically or just BO overall? for arm pits, you should make sure that your pit arm is always shaved off. lots of bacteria and deadskin can accumulate in your pit hair that causes you to smell bad. the same goes for the crotch.

as for body odor overall, remember that anything and everything that you eat and drink and be evaporated through your sweat. drinking lots of water will give you the cleanest smell as well as eating fruits and vegetables like celery, cucumber, strawberries, etc... definitely avoid garlic, onions, etc... and that includes any foods that may contain garlic/onions like hot sauce.

Deodorant and perfume is nice, but do not use antiperspirant it blocks your sweat glands from releasing toxins or whatever. While deodorant doesn't, they are totally different. I rather use deodorant then antiperspirant. What deodorant does it just lets you sweat naturally while eliminating the odor and the bacteria from creating the odor. While antiperspirant stop you from sweating and releasing the toxins and thus it's in your body, basically it stops the source of the smell but antiperspirant in my opinion is not good.

In times like these, I think of you, and wonder if you think of me.

I encountered some real bad BO yesterday. I was on Amtrak and there were some hippies sitting across from me and when they got up to leave they smelled like they hadn't bathed in a week crazy.gif The way back wasn't much fun either. The train was really crowded so this guy asked to sit next to me and I said ok. When he lifted his arm though I got a big wiff of BO and onions. He started to eat some smelly food too which really grossed me out.

My advice: don't eat smelly foods like onions and garlic! If you eat too much of them, you start to smell like them. Also bathe regularly and drink lots of water to clean out your system.

Pork is considered red meat?, I thought it was just beef.

Also I agree with everyone that said diet effects BO. Eating more veggies, fruits, and drinking water definitely helps. Also taking a shower helps too lol.
