so this is the Nike Amp+. It lets runners who use the Nike+ running system control their nano's (all generations) wirelessly. Its pretty cool, i was actually playing around with it yesterday and its really easy to set up, and it controls your nano perfectly. It is adjustable and comes in 4 different colors (black/grey, olive/orange, black/red and blue) You can do everything you could with your nano with this device. Its also a watch.

Its really easy, and quite fun to use. I spent the last end of my shift telling customers about this product, and they were impressed with it. It should be available now and the MSRP is $79.00.

WHY is it ONLY the NANO it can control?

i was never given a concrete reason for this but i believe its because the nano's are smaller, lighter and use a flash based memory compared to the larger, hard drive based Ipods. Flash Drives dont get damaged when you move it around briskly (like running) and Hard Drives do.

Nano's aren't the only flash players available around the world. There are tons that are better than the nano.

It's on the nano only, because it's freaking popular and they'll make more money.

when you said that its only on the nano, i thought you were talking about other ipods. I know there are other mp3 players that are techologically better than the nano. But Nike+ only works with the Nano, because Nike and Apple worked together.
