hi, i m in my 2nd year into my degree, n i m soon going to choose a major and do a credit transfer to australia, i m debating between biomedical science and biotech. I m not sure if all of you know wut biomedical science is, basically one could go into research or clinical with biomedical science. Some countries like in the US and canada, its called medical lab tech or stg like that, u can enter into postgraduate in medicine with it. Biotech on the other hand, has a wider options, but it involves lotsa complicated genetic engineering.

I need to think a lot about the outcomes of both. I also hav other options, dat is, to major in pharmacology, forensic science etc. So wat do u guys think? any comments on all these sciences degree i'd like to know, also, any information u know about australia's univ, do let me know too.

I'm going to be majoring in Biotechnology in Australia as well with advanced standing.
Like you I had an option of Biotech VS BioMed but I took the Biotech option instead.
If you want to proceed on to med school after Biotech you can do so as well.
In fact I had a fellow Biotech classmate who got accepted into med school already.
Pharm is loads of chemistry so it'll suit you if you're a chem kind of person.
