ok, last night i decided to wash my car. it was all spick and span and i decided to get some gas afterwards.
as i was pulling out i ran into those yellow bars next to a fire hydrant! (yes, i'm really dumb and an idiot!)
i was so pissed.
when i looked at it there were a couple of scratches and dents!
my question is: will a touch up pen do the trick for my minor scratches?
right away i went to ebay and bought this:

also did anyone have a similar situation?
i dont have a digital camera to post pictures. i have a cell phone but i still didnt buy the necessary equipment to upload pictures on my computer.

The pen will get rid of your minor scratches, but before you apply the touchup, make sure the surface is clean.
I had to go buy touchup paint one week after I got my car. My father decides to use the key to open the door and scratched the handle near the keyhole. He could've just unlock it by pressing a button

You can buy a bottle of 3M Scratch Removal applicant from any auto store. Work wonders and please follow instructions, it does get good results.

What v8subie said.
Make SURE you clean the area!! The prep work is thee most important when doing any kind of painting. I haven't used the 3M stuff, but I have used touch up paint, the kind you get at the dealer, looks like a bottle of nail polish. Remember to apply thin coats, multiple times.

it will obviously not look like nothing happened
BUT it will look better, as long as u do it correctly...from a distance u wont even notice (unless its like a giant patch)
just close up u might see it
